I really want to hear how this story ends with them being friends: as stated in the actual game, the dryad likes the witch doctor and Truffle while disliking the angler and hating the golfer. I can understand hating the golfer as he uses his lawn mower to literally destroy the ability of the land to provide for the creatures, displayed in game by substantially reducing spawn rates.

Nyalephathar (or however it’s spelled) brought the corruption, but over eons, he grew weak, dying, and desperately ordered the construction of a temple (wich eventually rotted away into the dungeon) to contact it’s god brothers, however, in the meantime, he rotted away, leaving only some bones, wich eventually re-animated, giving origin to Skeletron.
