I remember beating this for the first time with my friend at funworks back in 2000. It took time and lots and lots of tokens and by the time we were at poseidon we had a small crowd cheering us on. Ahhhh the nostalgia is real.

This is probably the only game that me and a friend played our entire way through at an arcade years ago. We beat the game and by the final level, we had a crowd of people surrounding us, cheering us on! Once we had won one of the guys working there came down and congratulated us. I remember him saying something like "Wow you guys actually beat it?". Fond memories. I just wish I could run it on my computer with a proper setup.

Man I remember playing this at the arcade as a child. Took me forever to find what it was named then realized the other ones similar. They were all great for how long ago they were made. It would be awesome if Microsoft and Sony introduced them into the consoles maybe. I could always plug mine into the PC and prolly play with it but I'd just like if it were on console with it being more easier. Thanks for the upload.

I remember my step-dad and I beat this game together over ten years ago on holiday. I was too young to appreciate how much it cost at the time, but I remember it took three sessions, and in each one we got up to the final level. That's a lot of quarters...

They still have it there at the Hollywood Arcade, and play it whenever I can at that boardwalk. The game was also at the nearby Shore Mall, but has sadly been closed (along with the arcade which went with it) some time ago.

I remember when I was six I used to play this every weekend with my dad the guy at the start saying baroque sea just sent pleasing along with the music it really creates atmosphere this game still is one of the best I've played in my life and brings a tear to my eye since I stopped Playing it a long time ago only if they have remade this on the wii console or Ds....

I loved this arcade game, there used to be one down Southsea in England, I played for the first time when I was 7 and I was hooked, I went again when I was 13, with just £2 and just completed the whole game, because the machine glitches and £1 was worth 100 credits!! XD I miss that game soooo much now, but still love watching this video, this game shall never be truly forgotten, R.I.P. The Ocean Hunter.

I fixed this slow issue by changing the computer I was on, I used my newer tablet and it runs good now... unfortunately I don't have any of the file links , a nice guy in a another play through of this game gave me the links on the comments section...

I beat this years ago when it was still in the arcade at the bowling alley in my town, AWESOME GAME! My favorite boss was always the Kraken because that's my favorite sea monster, but the others were cool too. I didn't really get the last boss until I watched the credits with the whole "restless God of the sea, creates monsters to keep humans out of his territory" synopsis. it's almost like a metaphor to respect the boundaries between the oceans and man. Overall, great shooter.

The prater still has two of those rooms. There is one under a statue which looks like a personified TV (more or less) and it has all the classics including the House of the Dead, Jurassic Park and Ocean Hunter.

I actually bought the whole arcade machine recently. I should probably post my playthrough to give some people some tips playing the actual arcade game. Btw there's 4 different diffculty settings on the machine I found that out after checking through the settings menu on my ocean hunter arcade machine :P
