Hi all! One quick correction I want to make regarding one of the tracks I described in the video: In regards to the title track section, in the video I referred to it in the written overlay and my voice over as Yaesu (Light Talking) but this is the intro track rather than the title track (The Arteries of New York City) and it's also that intro track, Yaesu (Light Talking), that plays behind the section where I'm describing the title track. A bit confusing but yes 😅

Please do a video on Dungeon Synth. It's such an odd, DIY, music genre that captures such a unique mood. I don't think anyone on KZbin could do it as much of a service as you, muh dude.

This Heat, incredible post punk band, who made these brilliant dark songs based around electronics and self sampling, and they did this all in the 70s!

You have to listen to the Album "Mercurial World" by Magdalena Bay. It's a Psychedelic Synth Pop Album drawing inspiration from Synth Pop, Vaporwave, Chiptune, Dance, and so much more. It's a 10/10 for me, it's been given very high praise and it's only there Debut Album. I can't wait for more.

I'd love to see a video on Boris, considering you love covering odd Japanese bands, they fit right in to that! They change their style so much but have a distinct sound, and I think there's a lot of great stories to cover there!

Touring your catalog of work and just wanted to say I’m a huge fan and love listening to your blend of reflection and analysis and I’m deeply refreshed by how evident it is that each of these videos is truly the fruit of a genuine love of the material. It seems you and I share A strange sort of comfort and appreciation for work that is overtly dissonant and uncanny and especially in projects that I can only describe as the crystallization of the memories of traumatic events or of trauma itself. I admit my appetite for this type of art is more limited than yours, which is impressive lol. Apparently we’re also both native Nee Jerseyans with a fondness for the Village and interestingly small jazz clubs in downtown NYC which is what made me decide I should send you some props and love, since our tastes are clearly shaped by some shared experiences, which is always fun to hear since, as you know, living in this area doesn’t ensure someone has been exposed to ANY of the shared cultural experiences that bond us. I haven’t been to the Village in a while, my last trip to NYC felt like the cities been so “rebooted” and gentrified losing so much of its mystique and character in the process. I’m sure I’m throwing out the baby with the bath water here, and if so, I’d love your take on how the city experience has been recently. Anyway, keep doing what ur doing, it’s so important we have this kind of output from “content creators”.

It would be great to see you covering the album Blackjazz by Shining (NOR)! It's a very special record that both marks a shift in the bands discography and also in the contemporary norwegian jazz scene. Fusing together jazz, black metal, industrial and free-form. The album is also marking it's 10 year aniversary this year.

Have you heard of the album “The Fire This Time”? It’s an incredibly obscure release but it’s been gaining traction on rateyourmusic recently. It’s basically an audio documentary on the Gulf War of 1991, but the emotional progression, instrumental work, and its brutal portrayal of the events that unfolded makes it an incredibly harrowing and devastating experience. I really hope it doesn’t get the same popularity treatment that EATEOT did, but its message is something that needs to be heard.
