@@jamesCamali when you know he can plowed through you with that forearm and drive it in and shoot at 76% near the basket without getting called for the foul, I think most will let him take the 3 shot. He is doing amazing from 3, no doubt, but again, if the game was called like it should, he wouldn’t be an offensive threat. People always bitch about Jordan pushing off in 1998, compare that light tap to lebrons massive push off with that arm….

@@suppaman12 I’m not gonna go down a huge rabbit hole with you. This is my last response to this as you’re now bringing up Jordan. A single, common arm move is not what keeps people out of lebron’s way. His uncommon 6’8” 250lbs frame is what moves people. It has not at all “saved” his career. He’s made thousands of shots that had nothing to do with this move: alley-oops, turn around fades (his top low post move), runners (buzzer beater vs Toronto), mid ranges, one dribble pull-ups (first career basket). Everything. Every player in the NBA uses this arm move. Every player in pickup games uses this arm move. Idk, what LeBron has done to you (unless you’re a Raptors fan), but you’re hating to hate lol. Offensive fouls. Hand checking isn't allowed on defense, and it shouldn't be allowed on offense.

This is a disgusting foul. If it's not then basketball is a clown fes. Might as well lay down the red carpet for the offender to score. The defender literally have no answer to this trict. A slight push can halt their momentum leaving them in the dust, even agaisnt the most skilled defender in the world. And it can be done by an average basketball guy.

Are you serious? The direct couhter to the off-arm swipe is just getting your hand above the offensive players off arm, easy picks. Also no average basketball is ever going to dog-walk an NBA player to the basket under any circumstance.

​@@essence600 Eh...the guy you're replying to does kind of have a point. While I do agree under no circumstance an average basketball player could stomp an NBA one, it's damn hard to counter a swipe. I remember fouling a guy like twice and getting subbed out, trying to get my hand over their arm. It's a foul cuz it's still reaching in. There's really no stopping the move unless the ref is lenient enough to help you out on defense. Or you're just an athletic freak who can cut off a guy pulling a move off like that.
