The Douglas MD-12 coexisting with the Airbud A380 would bring competition on the market. And maybe a full double-deck Boeing 747X could've been made. Perhaps in a parallel universe where MD didn't merge with Boeing and airlines were interested on taking many passengers in a single vehicle as possible, don't mind the operating costs, fuel burn and the time you have to wait just to get in and out of the plane on the Jet Bridges!

I always wondered what the md-12 was and this surprises me. It makes me think of the cancelled double decker 747 planned by boeing, but then again if the aircraft was made it would be registered into a different name that is not md-12 due to the merge. And if boeing's cancelled double decker actually worked out and managed to fly, everyone would praise it as an A380 knockoff since they never knew about it

Fun fact: i made lego planes since january 2023. Here's my lego planes: No.1: in January 2023 i made a 2 engine airliner. It's supposed to be a boeing 767 but i later upgrade it and i can turn it into any aircraft.
