Hey Randy, I just noticed you towed this with a Ridgeline. I was asking Brandon because he had a video with it hooked up to a Sequoia. But he could t give me much insight on it because he didn’t drive much with it or long enough distance. I have a Land Cruiser, max tow on it is 8k lbs, which I will never get close to that number. I know this GVWR, is about 6k lb. But can you give me some insight on how the Ridgeline handled this RV pls? Highway speeds, crosswinds etc, whatever you can provide would greatly be appreciated. I’ll probably never go crazy like your ROA videos go. Just wanted to get a sense of this RV if I was to tow it with my SUV. Thank you! 🙏

I build off-road Hondas so my ridgeline is not stock. 5” lift, 600lbs springs in the rear, and a race truck trans cooler. Pulling an independent suspension camper is a whole new experience. The campers float over the road instead of jamming and bouncing into the hitch where you normally feel the camper in your truck. The D035 hitch adds even more comfort. The MDC also comes with TRAIL ASSURE an Asymmetric Sway Control (trailer brakes will automatically apply to assist in sway). All in all it’s a great camper to pull as well camping in! 🎉🎉🎉

How does annex room do in strong windy day?
@ROAOffRoad10 ай бұрын
We have yet to personally test it in strong wind. There are lots of tie down points so we would imagine depending on how you tie and steak it down.

I heard the US version is built in China, is that correct?
@ROAOffRoad10 ай бұрын
They own a plant in China where they build both US and AUS. Everything they make comes from one plant. They are partners with the plant and almost always have staff from AUS overseeing quality. Every AUS designed import coming to the US is built in China but the difference between MDC and others is they are partnered with the plant and have been doing business for 2-3 times longer than anyone else.

Nice job Randy looks like you married up just like me? Nothing like good old Southern made whiskey to keep you warm in the winter. So "own" a factory in China. Not so sure on that one as MDC is a tad vague on the whole China thing and they really get pissy if you call them out on that. Regardless I believe they are more involved than other AU / Chinese brands out there. These rigs do have some great components! That awining looks very Chinesey. Good luck sir!

@ROAOffRoad I don't think every AU trailer coming to US is made in China. Maybe half. "Own" a facility might want to double check that one
