In the 2 comebacks this year Eli had success when he started to run with ball taking what defense was giving him . Once he started running the pass opened up. The last 2 weeks I think he was just trying to force things. Take what the defense gives you . If that running or quick passes so he’s not holding the ball , then so be it. And Kade needs to take those trick plays and put them the sun doesn’t shine.

Holstein can throw for a whole lot more yards, if they can ever put an offensive line in front of him, that doesn't get bullied, beat-up and blown by.

I think you are overdoing it. He is a freshman so just relax and let him screw up and let's not put too much pressure on the kid to keep this pace. Get the win and IDC how many yards he did or did not get.

@@talk-is-pitt That’s kind of what I was saying about keeping his performance so far in perspective. But at the same time, the numbers are impressive.

Eli's going to get better with some things and I don't see/hear enough people crediting the receivers who are seemingly making a higher % of catches than any Pitt receiving group in the recent past Desmond's first TD reception wasn't exactly on target and he reached back with his right hand to pull it in "easily" and nothing was mentioned about the nice catch am I just imagining that or is there a stats source for NCAA football that could quantify my opinion?
