@Mardello13 жыл бұрын
@@ehonda7831 What? Do you know what a PhD is? To get a PhD you have to contribute an original research thesis to the academic community of a particular field. It has to be accepted as sound for you to get a PhD. The original contribution to the academic field means you have objectively added something more and new to society through your research. It may be a niche topic but you have contributed something unique and irreplaceable to society. And then to become a teacher means that you have decided to take your expertise and give it to younger generations. Teaching manner is personal preference but the guy could've just retired and sat on his ass all day instead he's working as an educator in his 70s. I'm sorry but your comment just drips with insecurity.

@@Mardello1 The standards for a PhD have slipped dramatically. An "original research thesis" requires people to make more and more tenuous abstractions, very few of which actually improve the lives of... anyone. @gasgano82556 жыл бұрын
r carlo that's a very hateful view on his situations. Flirting is not cheating and not morally wrong by any means, especially not if the receiving person endorses it. Then bullying isn't only far reached but completely ignoring that his "victim" is not only doing it himself but can defend himself good enough. And the relationship with Karen was not primarily to make pam jealous. So quit your bias
@spongemon16 жыл бұрын
"Flirting to an engaged is not cheating" that right there means the rest of your argument is crap. People like being flirted genius specially the ladies and most specially if a 6'3" good looking fellow. You're basically saying bullying is okay as long as the victim fights back? Really? Not to make Pam jealous? Explain why Jim broke up with Katy (Amy Adams) for no reason right after Roy set a wedding date? Explain why after Pam told everyone in the campfire that she broke off the wedding because of Jim, he immediately breaks up with Karen and sets up a date with Pam? Your point of view is shallow.
@gasgano82556 жыл бұрын
r carlo yeah I'm already done talking to you. Take that as a win, I don't care. You should change your tone if you want discussions and maybe don't tell your opposition that what they say is crap or win by semantics. Have a nice day.
@spongemon16 жыл бұрын
Jim's natural behavior is to bully. When he transferred to Stamford, he still pranks Dwight miles away - the fax from future and gaydar. He then did his classic stapler on gelo to Andy. And when he was informed by Gabe of a company policy regarding commissions that he disliked, he edited Joe Bennett's audiobook as form of revenge. Oh, did I forget to mention that he purposely leaned in so that Michael falls in the koi pond? This is after he helped him how to be a manager, remember the increase salary episode? He also constantly lies and comes up with unlimited excuses whenever Michael invites him for dinner. And for what? The truth is you like Jim simply because he has good looks and smiles to the camera whenever something foolish is said or happens. This is why I like Robert California because he is immune from Jim - the interview and Yeah, I know that I've won even before getting into this argument. It's right for you to withdraw from someone who's seen The Office everyday for the past 5 years and basically know every character like the back of his hand.

Intimidation is bad leadership in my opinion. And Robert has always been very intimidating with the way he communicates. He intimidates people into agreeing with him. Even when he tells them that they're Weak. At least weaker than him. Until his own weakness of sexual passion was exploited by Nellie. A good leader brings out the best in every authentic individual through individual strengths. They are the biggest strengths of an individual because they're developed and driven by true passion and interest. And a good leader presents to his team his/her mindset as a better alternative to their current mindset. All Robert does is present to everyone how they should never be. Robert just wants to show that he stands above everyone else and that's no way to lead. No matter how genius his quotes sound, it's all mental trickery to lead the mind astray from its initial goal and towards questioning the sheep's role as a sheep in this world. This kind of existential crisis might be good to figure out a better alternative to life instead of working forever in a dying paper company. But it doesn't help lead a company and its employees. Robert chose the wrong place to apply at (not that he would care). He is a person that has recognized and accepted life as a pointless journey with a pointless goal and a pointless end with nothing after it. And all he wants to do is have fun with sex and tell everyone about the tragic reality of life, even when it doesn't help, just so he can be seen as a leader and have "the easiest job in the universe".
