Inspiration behind this video: A reunion special for The Office is being considered by NBC for its new streaming platform Peacock. The show was a remake of a British sitcom with the same name, created by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant. The American version, led by Steve Carell as the iconic Michael Scott, was a hit back when it was airing on NBC and only seems to be gaining a larger fan base as time goes on. When The Office hit streaming giant Netflix, the already-popular show reached new heights of admiration. It was regularly one of the most viewed shows on the platform, even beating out mega popular sitcoms like Friends. However, it was announced last year that the show would be leaving Netflix at the end of 2020. After that, the show will be streamed exclusively on Peacock, at least in the United States.

This cast, this show, specifically Steve Carell saved my life. 2 years ago I found myself always stuck at home with very bad anxiety and depression. I had a hard time finding life meaningful. One day browsing through netflix I decided to give this show a try and I found myself hysterically laughing and looking forward to each episode. This is one of the best series that I have ever seen.... Its absolutely brilliant....What makes it brilliant is its simplicity. Unlike other sitcoms, The Office is unique as it doesn't have generated laughs. Also, the story line is entertaining. The jokes are also spot on. This series depicts an ordinary office, the happenings in it and many people could relate to it. All in all, for me, it is the most underrated series of the past decade.

Unpopular opinion: I hope they don’t. It’s going to be like every other reboot where it’s political and unfunny. I've seen this series 3 full times and I'm currently on my 4th. It's impossible to get sick of and you notice something different each time you watch it. It was literally the ONLY show I could watch that would make me feel better during my anxiety, stress and depression. And when it got lonely during Covid, I felt like I had a family. And just a whole other host of awesome things cos there really isn't another feel-good show like it. What I love most though is that these characters are good people, the stories are at their core actually really meaningful and even though they drive each other mad, they really just want the best for each other. That's true love. The Office fan forever ❤❤❤❤🙌

I love this show. I had an unexpected panic attack on an airplane ride recently but I was able to watch a couple of Office episodes and my anxiety went away completely by the end of the flight. Usually I watch it for fun b/c it’s a clever and entertaining show, but in this case it was a Godsend as well. Thank you entire Office Cast! ❤
