Yeah me neither. I did eveything mentionned in the video prior to that point but when I plug in my device (will it's off) it doesn't do anything.

Thanks, I upgraded and it works well, the UI is snappy, however if you're planning on using FPse, be warned, this update might brake it. It did for me. Reinstalled it multiple times and tried different settings, it crashes not long after starting any game. Retroarch with ReARMed is good enough but FPse does have better performance so be warned.

Links aren't set up correctly as shown in your tutorial...Downloaded every folder shown, yet they are missing the files shown in your videos...Moves way too fast for any hope of being able to follow

All installed running fine when you plug a USB in you need to drag down the connection notifications and select transfer imaje and files. It set it to charge device only

Hey, I advise you to watch retro game corpse regarding updating to lineageos, just follow him step by step and you're sorted. I literally did it yesterday and worked great

Hi, I cannot enter the Game Market on a newly arrived Retroid pocket 2, even though is connected to internet. The error message is "Failed to connect to /47.75...etcetera". I have read somewhere that the Game market is closed now on Retro Pocket: is it true? I would like to add Amiga 500's Menace game

Ah your on about the retroid os, there were always problems with that as it was connecting to the chinese servers, I recommend not using and grabbing your own roms to put on there

mine bricked itself. smart phone flash tool started formating, 100% and than nothing more happened, after 13 minutes i disconected the device. no life in it at all. black screen and thats it. opened it up, disconectet the battery, tryed flashing with and withoud the battery plugged in, DEAD.

Have not came across that before, make sure you have installed the drivers fist as mentioned in the video, and make sure you have the right files selected in the in flash tools folder section,

I had that happen once on a older update, you remove the back and un plug the battery to the mains this will completely power it off , plug it back it and that helped for the PC to recognise the device to install the update ,

You can create a back up of dig through the setting and will place the file in the download folder, with retro arc, once installed on your new device, you could drag you prevois files and folder on the newer installed one in the system drive.

Mind the gad is a zip file including in the download should be with the play store folder, I'll have to double check, but it should be place in the same folder for play store to install.

Quick little message about wrong memory during flash and its bricked. Guess I was unlucky. thanks. Been over all the steps multiple times. I had it right. Edit: took the battery out and it worked just fine. it was off but just one of those things i guess.

also had to use a keyboard to get my wifi password in. the "O" key wasn't working so i had to take it apart and re solder it to just get my password into the RP2. its been a day.

@@rightspritegaming Is ok I followed as I saw, currently backing up my games from sd card since it says the card is "corrupted" and needs to be formatted so it can be read, so im moving the files to my pc then formatting it then moving the games back in. But so far all good.

@@rightspritegaming welp this was a mistake xD After multiple hours dic is not working correctly, the ok options in the options menu are not selectable and the games appear in number but not their covers or any menu for them. The google store also refuses to appear, did enabled it, disabled it multiple times and nope , i even tried downloading the apk and installing it and it shows but refuses to open. I might have to reset the device back and get to android 8.1 again. But it was worth the try. That menu looks cool. Oh well you win some you lose some.

The RP2 is still a promising platform, but it is VERY unpolished and cumbersome to use with the stock Android 6/8.1 interface. Hopefully this will fix my frustration. I bought two of these, and we didn't;t even use them because of how shitty the interface is.
