My husband's I had 3 girls and he had a girl from his first marriage. He always said he was meant to take care of girls. Even his horses were girls. Chickens, goats, donkeys, dogs. Jr took in the dogs ppl just left at the deaf end of our road. I have such wonderful memories of him. RIP love.

Just saw this and it's so cute. Congrats on having a baby boy! I had 4 sons so I didn't understand how different they can be. When my granddaughter was born she was so sweet and so easy. 11 years later they had a baby boy. My poor daughter inlaw lol. She was so unprepared for the difference. Our little guy is a tornado with so much energy a complete 180° from his big sister. They recently had another boy and there's less than a 2 years difference between them. I'm going to back and enjoy the chaos! Oh the payback from dad's wild childhood years!!!

Same here.Wasn't in God's plan for me either. But, God knew best. My first grandchild was a girl. I was blessed to be able to spend five years with her before her sibling came along. Yup, a boy. I think God knew I just needed a little "girl" time. lol. However, I was also happy her sibling was a boy. I was hoping for at least one of each. I hope your sons & God bless you with the gift of at least one granddaughter! Fact: I have five brothers & the youngest girl born into our family was 16 years old at that time. A girl was well overdue! lol.
