I wish these were affordable. A beginner's choices are either poor-quality toys at premium prices or slightly better-quality toys at extortionate prices, with nothing in between. I've paid less for real cars than these starter sets.

Carrera has done itself a great injustice by not having any F1 cars. I have now purchased 2 scale auto F1s and an NSR F1 put in digital chips and moved away from carrera cars . I have since purchases 2 Fly cars a Lola and a porch 17 . I warned Carrera but its now to late

I'm looking to get into the hobby but $400 for the smallest starter set is ridiculous. I'm looking at the Carrera GO 1/43 sets. No one ever talks about tho. Everyone gushes over the 1/32 digital sets. Must be nice to be a youtuber and have these companies gift you starter sets to gush about. This hobby is completely out of my price range.

Every hobby is expensive mate, carrera go is amazing and if that suits your budget go with it. As for sets being reviewed, if you want sets sent to you I would recommend starting a channel and putting the hard work in Cheers for watching legend

@@thatslotcarguy I hear you, I'm just frustrated because entry level into the hobby is about $400 and that's with a tiny track and 2 basic cars. I'm going to go with Carrera Go 1/43 scale, to which I've seen mixed reviews but mostly positive. Some people have some insane setups. I'm not looking to get into a crazy expensive hobby, just looking to set up a track in my living room and have a race with my wife now and then. But I don't want a cheap piece of crap either. No one cares about the 1/43 scale. Everyone wants 1/32 digital and it's annoying because the digital sets are like $600 for entry level.
