Fun fact, when this games servers died they took a ton of the assets to re-use them for marvels rivals. Doctor strange even has the same voice actor. So it didn’t fully die but it served its purpose!

For everyone wondering. The assets were sold to netease as part of the deal that contracted them for Marvel Super War to help lower dev costs and time constraints. They ended up reusing SOME of those assets in Rivals. To my knowledge it was mainly texture work and design principles. I only know this cause my fiancée works for netease as she is part of their marketing team. So for everyone wondering how a game from two different devs, years apart can share some of the same DNA that’s how the industry works :)

This game truly is every Marvel fan's dream. Oculus got the rights to make Iron Man, so I feel like they should have the rights to this game. If it had maybe some more content like a campaign or something and more modernized VR combat it could easily be a AAA VR game.

Not enough to satisfy the expectations of the producers, but saying 'no one' is such a ridiculous statement the I normally tune out anyone who uses it. It just so happens that this game has been a sore spot for me since they killed it. There was no reason for them not to allow people who bought the game continue to play it in single player, no matter how unsuccessful it was.

Bmfvr used a different method to play that basically cracked the game. We use a different more legal way he also played before the discord was up but we are glad to see so many people are interested in this game :)

Visually, the game is phenomenal. Wolverine's gloves and then his claws, all shiny and sharp looking! Hellzyeah! Lockjaw's fur looks really good too. Wow! Some of the in game action cutscenes, like Hulk fighting and making a path for you as he destroys stuff, and Rocket, so cool. It's top notch style and visuals even for today's standards of most games. As for gameplay, too bad it's a bit arcade-y and seems somewhat repetitive. Not actually bad though.

(it's simply not a good game) All these people here talking like "I cAn'T bELiEvE tHeY sHuT tHiS dOwN!" don't have a clue what they're talking about and they sure haven't played it either and even if they did, they'd stop playing it after a few hours (just like everyone else did) cause it's simple, boring, and repetitive.

Being a big comic nerd, I had such high hopes for this game. Alas, its just another VR wave shooter game. After about 10-12 hours, you hit the wall, and get bored fast. I was expecting VR Ultimate Alliance, and this is not that. Lockjaw teleports you into the room, you clear the room and mission is over. Rinse and repeat.

I really don’t understand why this game was completely delisted. I assumed there were servers they just didn’t want to continue paying for but this makes it seem as if that isn’t the case. If that’s not the case, then removing something people paid for without reason seems like it would expose them to a lawsuit for fraud and theft, in my humble not-a-lawyer opinion.

@@michelverheijen6643 I wanted to replace the Quest 2 because of the god rays and always seeing the circles from the lenses so there isn't much point getting another one with similar lenses, the Quest 3 glare is just as bad except there's no annoying circles. I really don't understand how none of the reviewers or VR gamers I watch mentioned it. I literally never heard or read a single thing about it until I saw it myself and then looked it up.
