I'm surprised when ranking Goyo, Pox never brought up his biggest downfall. If you lose site control, his canisters can easily be used against defenders. Possibly winning the attackers the round. I've seen too many matches where a Goyo places the canisters next to common doorways, which never get used. Then attackers take site and blown them after plant is down. I suppose he takes more skill than people think. As a Capitao main, sad to see him in D, but it's kinda true. He works really well for direct site pushes, for planting, and post plant. Not to mention he pairs very well with Glaz... another D tier Operator lol

I don’t know…hot take maybe but half of this tier list was “here’s where I rank the operator based on how other people play them”. Lion, Brava, Flores, Thorn, Fuze, and Castle are just a handful of rankings on this list that are just straight up biased. It doesn’t make them C or D tier operators. You have a handful of good takes, but most of these are all over the place.

Honestly I like this list, I think people are looking at what the pros are doing and taking it as gospel. This feels like a ranked tier list where I agree with most of these takes, I hadn’t even thought of just walking through the gridlocks honestly and I feel if more people did she would not be ranked so high

Hey guys gold V player here, I use Maverick when I drone and notice a bandit or kaid. Really any operator that denies hard breach. There are two reasons for this, if they go bandit, simply melt and find the bandit quietly, but if they use kaid even better because they won’t expect you to use Maverick. Not only this but both of his primaries are elite weapons (personally I prefer his semi-auto even tho it’s not as good for 1v1 scenarios, but it’s amazing for silently or consistently picking people off one by one.) I especially like to drone in the drone phase, find where people are roaming, go opposite of that side, silently breach with his torch, go to any hard wall, and just silently pick people off and take care of gadgets and traps. Not only this, but roamers tend to get over-confident. It doesn’t matter how confident they are, if you can hit your shots with Mav’s 67 damage semi or his high rate of fire m4, they’re cooked.

Ranked system has been scuffed for awhile, I will constantly play emeralds and Diamonds, furthest I made it in original ranked was platinum and 2.0 been in gold...I have also noticed this season you seem to have two people on each team carrying while the rest are just meh...sometimes I am carrying...other times I am on the bottom. Currently gold with 1.1 KD and 1.0 win/loss

Jackal is being disrespected more and more each day. The scanner is extremely fun to use, the guns are insane(+secondary shotgun) and now that nobody plays warden again the smokes are great. You should try him out again, you’ll see how fun he is and how easy it is to fit him on a roster.

I am just confused about comparing Mozzie to Mute. Sure Mozzie only takes care of drones but the benefit is that by the end of prep phase you could have 3 cameras for vision and call outs that are mobile. Just using Mozzie to deny drones is underselling the character

Thorn traps are very good if you know the common entrances and pair them with barbed wire so it slows the attackers down and they can’t see the trap underneath the barbed wire. It’s crazy, but I get so many kills with thorn now that I know you gotta pair 2/3 of her bombs with barbed wire and save the third one for a spot you think of during the round. Never use her shield, that’s the first rule. Always go barbed wire!

The thing with thorn is that the gadget can be used in 2 different ways. They're to slow to go off so a Melusi or Clash would be needed because they could just break the barbed wire so you'd have to dedicate 3 players to a strat to give it a higher chance of working not to mention you'd be using more than 1 Thorn bomb for the start as well. They're decent for a sound que/early warning device but Ela, Lesion, Melusi just to name a few so other ops could do that job better. I get the appeal of the gadget but other gadgets do it's job better

1.play closer to the gate and when you are ready to throw get close to the gate so it deactivates (I'm aware that this will alert the attackers that you're close) 2.throw your smokes on your side of the door way, so play them more defensively 3.one of you switch

Zero is really an underrated pick. He works well solo queueing like his kit is one of if not the best kits in the entire game. Mp7 and sc3000 are really good. And the cams can help with popping Mira’s, getting Kaid claws, etc. But he can be counted by jager, wamai, and many more ops. Phonolox is not really reliable when it comes down to the wire. People like atheino, bractionFPS, and many more content creators are way better than phonolox. But if you play with a stack, Monty could be useful for getting the plant down, or holding a line of sight, but he is really good at covering his team. Deimos is good for solo queue. But other than that, Deimos is mid for his kit. AKM ain’t too good, and the shotgun is the shotgun: good for attack, terrible for attack. But you’re gonna mainly use his revolver. Deimos is that “take one round to use him. If you use him too many times, mute, and vigil will be getting picked on defense. Overall, zero is a good intel, and fragging op. Don’t listen to phonolox.

Yes, a well placed zero cam can be very useful even op in some cases however a drone could do the job almost as well not warranting a pick for Zero. Playing him offensively will yield a higher negative outcome against good players than a positive one, not saying it couldn't be done but it's hard to do in many cases. An underrated pick yes, a great pick not so much
