If we ever have windsurfing and kitesurfing events in the Olympics again, you guys need to produce it. You guys made speedsailing look cool. I can imagine the perfect, wind-tunnel assisted speed course!

This looks like so much fun! And I'm usually not really into straight line surfing or racing for that matter. But I can see now why people ride race gear! What a cool event!

This is awesome!!! I love speed sailing over wave riding any day. They are both impressive but I grew up sailing on flat water so I am partial to speed over maneuvers. Great job....

Great to watch ,regards from the Australian and World Record holder Perry Quinn ,if you changed from GPS to real measured speed you would know where you stood in real events records ,53.7 knots av sp real speed events is the speed you're chasing in an authorised event.sail on.

wouldn't it be more interesting to have a best relative speed vs the maximum wind speed rather than an out and out maximum speed event ? Reason being that these guys are all over fed heavy weights that are capable of holding up rigs in 65/70 knots of wind. Any body capable of standing on a board with a gust of 70knots is guaranteed to go fast. A best relative speed vs the wind would also entice more RD and better efficiency.
