If an Ogryn character used equipment without the "Ogryn-proof" attribute as a melee weapon, he had a chance to break it every time he used it. And they couldn't use normal human-sized guns at all because the trigger's too small. Ogryn guns notably all had the Ogryn-proof attribute.

Going to be fair, lore Ogryn are far dumber than the one in darktide though. Even if this guy is a bonehead, he seems leagues more intelligent than how they're depicted in canon. While not smart by normal metrics, he has pretty good objective awareness and his conversations are on par with a slightly underaverage intelligence human, not the drooling 5 year olds they're depicted as in lore.

the slab shield is pretty bonkers. if you brace with the special action you have unlimited stamina. that combined with the fact that daemonhosts will only target the person who first wakes them up means it's really the only "safe" way to fight them.

Fun fact. Lvl 10 perk called Bombs away makes it so when you hit an armored enemy with the box the grenades fly out and do Boom. Box is just most fun throw-able weapon.

The Ogryn grenade launchers feel a bit lacking to me. 'lotta on target damage, which is good, but very little splash damage which is rather bad. If I fire into a hoard with a grenade launcher, I expect to take out the guy I hit and their six friends packed right up against each other minimum... not paste the middle guy and deal negildable damage to everyone around them. 's fun taking out snipers with 'em though but that still doesn't feel right. the Grenade Launcher isn't fullfilling it's role of delivering explosives to the enemy in a loud fashion properly.
