I kept one on line for over a year and another for almost a year. Both were on oil rigs and had daughters who were supposedly born when their fathers were over 60…in boarding schools in California and Europe. I actually got one of them to give me his (or a mule’s) address in order to send his daughter a gift. I checked the weather at their supposed locations whenever they claimed to have bad storms. It was amazing how much information I got from them.

In the first story, I can give the scammer some kudos for taking the time to actually finding out what an orthopedic surgeon does. Most of them do not. I’ve heard some of them say they work with sick people when asked what they do as an orthopedic surgeon. Or when pressed for medical specifics, scammers have confessed to not being doctors but then continue to try to scam using their real photo and admitting that they’re in Nigeria and not in Yemen or Turkey or Syria.

I play with them I tell them all kinds of stories, that I’m from Okopoke Brisboise north of Americana, I work under water in the sea lol. The reason they act oblivious to your outrageous life style is because there not paying attention as they have others to scam at the same time.
