Yes. Because he wanted all that money for himself. They are angered when a potential victim doesn't respond to a money request. Listened to other scambaits and the scammers were extremely rude and even said death threats. They truly have no remorse.

This was the first time that I have heard a scammer tell a potential victim to cancel their vacation plans. Scammers are such evil people. I am part of a well organized scam baiting team but only just recently discovered this channel. The team I am on has baited one scammer for over three years and another one little over a year. There were over 16 different characters for this scammer and just recently a 17th character was added. After over a year of promises, he still hasn’t received his money. I wonder why.😆

For the first story, I don't know if the scammers really believe the things they say, I think it's more likely a tactic to see if you're easily bulied because then you might make a good victim. There are people who would just do whatever they're told because they're used to being treated that way. If you don't respond or block them then they move on but if you keep talking after they put you down they think there's a chance to make money. P.S. I live in Florida and there are American men who have that archaic way of thinking.
