So Hungary called a 1v1, lost horribly, screamed for the turks to help, and then nearly lost a 2v1 to a sphereless minor. Jesus Christ, that was pathetic. Props to the Romania player, especially for his first game. Somebody really should have helped him as soon as the turks intervened.

The map in the vid is based off very old TNO lore where Alantropa (a plan to dam the Gibraltar Strait) went through and caused useless land in the Mediterranean to rise up. Nowadays TNO has gotten rid of this lore and Europe has its proper borders because it didn't add anything to the mod beside the map changing and made development of Mediterranean nations hell.

The Atlantropa project was done by Germany in this mod but this is based off the old version of TNO they have since scrapped Atlantropa making it no longer canon

@@3.2187_Kilometres The "made development of the mediterranean hell" claim is a baseless excuse the dev team made to justify removing it. The only difficult part of map modding in paradox games is making the modified map itself, once the map is made there's no extra work to use it in a mod. They were just lazy and didn't like Antlantropa because "too wacky/fun" and wanted to remove it.

The only reason why it existed was to give the Mediterranean states more grievances against the Germans, but you don't need an outlandish and obscure land development plan to have that not to mention it's a pretty goofy detail in an otherwise fairly serious and realistic world. Also, why does German Africa exist when they didn't want it and Portugal owned those territories? Was that ever explained?
