The Okami Sequel Trailer Reminded me why I Still Love Videogames

I should also point out: Capcom made a poll about their IPs, asking people which was the best game and franchise. DMC 5 won in almost every cstegory, but Okami was always in the Top 3. Nobody forgot the amazing journey of Amaterasu, so that also was critical in the decision of a sequel.

I first played this back when it came out, I was 24. Now I'm a 42 yo man balling at a 30 second wolf cartoon. It's a very special game.

I legit have Okami on the Wii, Switch, PS2, 3, 4 and 5. I've never hesitated to rebuy/redownload this game. It's so friggin special.

I already own Okami on both PS2 and PS3, but as soon as I saw this teaser I bought another copy to play on my Xbox. (Conveniently on sale)

@@_shivers us fans rebuying multiple copies is what's causing Capcom to release the sequel. Ever play the Nintendo DS game? I heard it's good too.

I started Okami on PS2 then tried it on Wii then switched on PC. PC allows a good gameplay of the brush imo

Please. Temper your expectations. Kamiya and a lot of his team left because of the direction Platinum is going in which probably includes Okami.

Kamiya is in his own studio, Clovers Inc. and is pairing up with Capcom to do the game. He has also recently said he wants to make games with Clovers Inc. with as minimal input from investors as possible, so he can be as creative as he wants. It is the best case scenario for this sequel. Capcom have faith in him, or this opportunity would have never presented itself.
