This showed up in my feed out of nowhere. Was amazing to watch - how skilled he is! I don’t particularly care for the Louis Vuitton monogram leather look nor did I like the color combination with black, but the way he transformed this old bag and the level of detail and craftsmanship of his work .. it is truly superb. Wondering how much experience he must have. Very impressive!

This is so gratifying to watch even though my jaws clinched when you cut the bag. I have the same bag in the same condition. I had a cobbler replace the handle and clean it. Just like new aside from the inside, but that's to be expected with such a vintage bag. Nearly as old as me. Well done! I would much rather spend money to have someone do this as opposed to purchasing new bags left and right. This is an experience....... art......not snobbery.

Generally i a not a fan of the Louis Vuitton logo pattern, but the way you broke it up with the gorgeous deep black leather was fantastic. This set is my favorite thing i have ever seen with that pattern. Both pieces are functional, but beautiful and could easily be sold in an LV store. Well done!

I always wonder if reforming a bag and changing the design is imitation or not? And It surprised me how easily you cut the leather. All my life I thought LV leather didn't cut easily. Your skill is incredible! It's so fun and refreshing to watch your videos.

Nothing hard to cut when you use the right tool. He can't brand his creation as a Louis Vuitton, but if he clearly states that this a salvage with an original design, nothing prevents him to fix his own price. Unless the design is stolen, then that would be problematic, but I don't think this is the case.

I had this size LV, and I cut it up. I make costume jewellery, and I created a pendant with a fringed drop, made with finely cut strips of the bag. It lasted about an hour after I put it on a local website. I use lots of different bags for the same purpose. Once they become used for a while, they are a marked, but are still useful.😄

I've never posted a video, (wouldn't have a clue how to)🙂 I can however show you the fringed 'pendant' that I made for my bag, and what I make them from. If you'd like to create a throwaway email address, I could send photos. And as well, I could show you the wonderful supplies that I make my jewellery with, which is not cheap beaded jewellery. I actually bought thousands of dollars of lovely costume jewellery, and took it all apart to make one off pieces. 🙂

When I was little, I like shiny coins. I took dull coins and placed them in vinegar. They got shiny again after a day or two. Do you this would work for the hardware? Btw, great video. Thanks for sharing.

youre very talented but i would like to mention smth that bothers me. this is not restoration but rather renovation. Restoration would be if you did all this but the bag was kept in its original form and style (what i wouldve done). You renewed it and changed the style of bag so it is renovation. I notice a lot of people on youtube wrongfully use that word to describe this. Being someone who has ocd i like to be precise XD
