That platform at the front of the skytrain was a child's dream. Missed the days fighting for that spot with my sis and other kids on the train. And there will be this middle section where it sped up. Nowadays its just moving along at a boring slow pace throughout.

i remember sitting at the very front near the window as a kid. The sitting area was huge enough and kids could see the tracks in front up close, unlike the new one now which unfortunately you cant see much

You can still hear the same motor sounds of the old Changi Skytrain and C801 on the newer C801A trains, which will continue to serve on the BPLRT for years to come after its minor refurbishment.

There was also those orange and purple neon signs at the end of the track. I think it got removed during refurbishment in 2006.

The platform screen door of this kind at 0:47 can still be found at Denver International Airport and the Altanta Plane Train albeit the metal door.

The old Skytrains are actually preserved (2 sets out of 4) It is so nostalgic I saw the videos (Video on Lotplayz's channel)

In regards to this,Yes I have filmed 2 of the trains out of the four,It is so nostalgic the interior remains intact in 2 of the trains (Like the person who commented) My video is on my channel. (Edit:A company I can't disclose bought some of the trains and converted some to an office and one train was planned to be a cafe

This system originally came from Westinghouse before it ended up with Adtranz. The technology switched hands a couple more times with Bombardier, and now Alstom. Now that we have things like SiC-MOSFETs, thyristors in the old Changi skytrain fleet and even the C810A are now considered ancient technology considering it was from the 1970-80s.

En Garde Post, you could’ve record the Jurong Bird Park Panorail for one of your episodes but unfortunately due to its bird park closure, the panorail tracks and stations were silently demolished…

It is going to be hard to do one for the Jurong Bird Park Panorail as Jurong Bird Park is now closed completely. Furthermore I never had the opportunity to ride the Panorail when I was younger, even though I really wanted to, so my knowledge of the Panorail won't be extensive enough to do a video on it...

@RailFilmmakingSG I realised if you try to record or copy the footage of one of the KZbinrs whom he or she recorded the Jurong Bird Park Panorail after its closure, there might be problems and issue-related incidents or issues… How about the Jurong Region Line? It was previously an LRT rail line. The route would show that the starting point or starting terminus was the Jurong East station while the ending point or ending terminus was the NTU’s School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. The route was shown that it starts from Jurong East station all the way until NTU (terminating at NTU’s School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering building) with 15 stations in its route while there are only two interchanged stations: Jurong East and Boon Lay stations. The last three stations “1, 2, 3 (terminus)” (I’m just layering those as without this labels would lead to some confusions) (before reaching the ending terminus) would be around the area of NTU where 1 and 2 would pass by a few Hall of Residence units in the campus (at the southern outskirts of the NTU area) before 3 (terminus) would terminate at the building of NTU’s School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering).

That is for the transit area passengers. From my observation, the one on the right is used more often, and this straight one is probably for backup/secondary use.
