My friend, in Christ, I have been on that path and I can tell you how to shed the life of perpetual sin. The secret is to look to Jesus. That seems simple but it is powerful. What I mean by looking to Jesus is to trust in Him solely. Resist the desire to conquer sin by your will because you don’t have the power and you will surely fail as you confessed. Look to Him in your weakness, knowing your weakness, knowing your failures, and graspingly cling to Jesus and His power! He conquered sin on the cross. He makes it possible to walk in liberty above ensnaring sin. Trust that He can do it! You must trust! When you are tempted, fall into His arms and declare your weakness and cling to His Almighty strength.
