Oh wow, on the waking up question that really answered a lot of the problems I was having last summer. I used to stay up really late to wake up late and then after one hour of being awake I wanted to practice but my voice couldn't even make a proper sound let alone me trying to support it. So I just gave up on that and did other things till my voice was fine again. I really didn't know there was an explanation to it 😂. Also, its nice to hear you are a fellow relationship nor religion believer. And I believe you have a powerful testimony.

It was very good to hear. Positive energy radiates from you. I am a professor of singing and an opera soloist. I watched a few of your videos and I must admit that they are very substantive and accurate in their conclusions. Greetings from Poland. I will follow your schedule, maybe you will visit Warsaw or another Polish opera again👍🤞

Thank you very much for your kind words! As a Maestro of the Old School of singing, I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and helping singers achieve their fullest potential. It's always a pleasure to hear from fellow professors of singing and opera soloists, especially from such a beautiful country as Poland. I'm so glad to hear that you found my videos substantive and accurate, and I hope that they were helpful to you and your students. I have wonderful memories of performing Don Carlo at the Wielki Opera in Warsaw and I'm thrilled to know that my work has resonated with fellow singers and professors in Poland. While I don't currently have any plans to visit Poland in the near future, I would certainly welcome the opportunity to perform or teach there again at some point down the line. In the meantime, I wish you all the best in your teaching and performing endeavors, and thank you again for your support!

So if I wanted to hear someone's voice while singing opera and classify them as a bass, how would I do that? What makes a true bass in your opinion? How are true basses made? In my opinion, most of how your low notes sound are due to how you're born, so ideally you should be born as a bass. What do you think?
@giancarlomonsalve
@giancarlomonsalve Жыл бұрын
Correct 🙂 you can’t create someone’s voice natural quality, you can shape it, improve it, make it free and also you can rediscover the true nature of a voice, that yes. But the nature stays like it is, The problem is that many people sing completely outside of their real nature, by seeking color instead of effectiveness.

@@giancarlomonsalve Okay yes. Indeed, sometimes I forget to let my voice sing naturally. But there are also days in which I remember what I'm supposed to do. There are days in which I choose to let my voice develop naturally.

¡Hola, amigo!

Hello Maestro Giancarlo Monsalve. I am David Frangulyan, lyric baritone, I'm from Uzbekistan, Tashkent. I study in national Conservatory. 20 years old. There are difficulties with the vowel "I". When I sing in the top register, the lower jaw is clamped. How should one practice to overcome this? Can I send you a recording? Thank you very much, Maestro!!

Hello David, thank you for reaching out! It's great to hear that you're studying at the national Conservatory and taking your vocal technique seriously. As for the vowel "I" and clamping of the lower jaw, I recommend focusing on placing the "I" vowel into the cavity of the "U" vowel. This will help you maintain a natural deep connection that vowel "U" has, while also keeping the natural brightness of vowel "I" without stressing your voice or creating a spread position on the "I" vowel. And of course, feel free to contact me and follow me on social media so you can send me a recording by private message if you'd like further guidance from me or my team! Keep up the good work.

@giancarlomonsalve
