THE OLD SHOWFIELD PARKRUN! Join me as I provide an in-depth review of the THE OLD SHOWFIELD parkrun experience and the almost 4 lap coourse it entails! This is the eleventh parkrun I have recorded of which you can find a playlist of them all on my channel!
• Worldwide Parkruns
I will be doing parkruns all over the UK and rest of the world! Every Saturday I take part in a 5K run trying my hardest to get under 20 mins. The Old Showfield parkrun is a parkrun close to the centre of Frome to the South West of England and is a great run to tick off the "T" on the alphabeteer challenge. It is a slighlty hilly four lap course so not great if you're trying to get a pb, however, all on hardstanding and a great one for the winter as it was one of very few still running due to flooding! Frome is a nice parkrun. Hill is a good challenge each lap. Luckily the start is at the top.

Yeah it’s a great one, not too easy, I like the challenge of the hill each lap too! I did Tøyen parkrun in Norway and it was the same, started at the top and thankfully on the last lap didn’t have to do it again 😄

I've seen so many videos about the parkruns in the UK, and I have no idea what that is "and at this point I’m too afraid to ask”" 😅 Finally googled. Now I don't understand why calling a regular run somewhat different 🙈

😆 yeah a parkrun is just an organised 5k run every Saturday morning! I think the only difference is it’s all free, there are a group of volunteers who run it and it is officially timed and positioned 😆 do you run a lot? 😊
