The Oldest Christmas Market in Germany | Dresden 2023

The Striezelmarkt in Dresden is the oldest Christmas market in Germany and one of the first in the entire world! This beautiful and quaint market is located in the heart of Dresden square and has so many shops to explore. This is the perfect place to visit for a Christmas market with friends and family in 2023. There are wonderful drinks and sweets like mulled wine (Gluhwein), hot chocolate, gingerbread, warm candied nuts, pastries, and so many others. Plus countless shops selling traditional European goods like ornaments, souvenirs, wood carvings, hand knitted Christmas gear, and more!
