Merry Christmas! Great video! "Erzgebirge" are mountains in Saxonia where wooden Christmas toys are made. The "Glühbeer" was cherry flavored real beer from Belgium with spices. "Flammkuchen" is from the Alsace (France) and not so popular in Eastern Germany.

Erzgebirge are the Erz Mountains - a very beautiful area to visit by the way. It's where the pyramids originate from :) It's located in Saxony, close to the Czech border. It's pronounced: Ehhrts - gabeerga (best to have a listen online)

Dresden was bombed to rubble in WWII it's pretty impressive how they restored the city to such a beautiful one. You guys know that that Christmas sort of cake the Stollen originally came from there Dresden right ? You guys are a very cute couple !

A real Baumkuchen is baked layer by layer on a rotating skewer, the so-called roller. It's called "the King of the cakes". I prefer Lebkuchen with a lot of nuts (and waffles with anise for New Year's Eve).
