Literally just asked my mate if he knows anywhere in Bridgnorth! I'm awaiting his reply. *edit - some of the parts of the Hermitage have definitely been filled in since I was last in there. Also nice one I actually remember some of the carved names you can see in the video. I wouldn't be surprised if mine are still there!

@@NickyBsHistory he's down the pub at the minute lol. He's seen my message on WhatsApp so it'll probably be tomorrow. I forgot to timestamp the parts that have definitely been filled in in the video. Good work dude! That took me back fifteen years or so seeing the caves. We used to camp out on top of High Rock quite often in the 90s. Good times all around back then. I'll hit you up when he's replied man!

@@NickyBsHistory Right he's jogged my memory as to where there are some that are easily accessible. I just need to figure out how to explain it to yourself. Give me a couple of days and I'll be able to get the info to you. They're under the Castle Walk but without me being there it's going to take a bit of sorting the details out!!! Edit - I've been in them myself but it's been almost thirty years lol. I'll have a look at Google maps but I doubt they'll be on there.

I really Appreciate this!! When you say Castle Walk do you mean Lavingtons Hole and the sandstone features close by?? If so they have now been fenced off and quite tricky to get into unfortunately.. I do still need to go back and have a look around High Rock though so hopefully that brings back some memories for you then aswell🙏😎💚

@@NickyBsHistory it's not Lavingtons Hole! It's not far from there. I'll tell you how to get to the others once I've had a look online. I had totally forgotten about these ones! I don't know if you remember but I was the person who commented on the Lavingtons Hole video and I climbed up and in there in the early 90s.

Id say even older bro what your looking at as the Waverly abbey I did vid on is nearly a thousand year old n they was Already building with stone n cement by then where as these places are actual caves bro which have probably been lived In by humans n cavemen for hundreds of thousands not just 1 thousand years 🤷‍♂️👌💯💚🙏

🤣🤣 no comment.. dont know what you are on about and you have no proof🤪 Yeah i'd love to get it all dated bro... i'm slowing building up a folder taking samples from everywhere i go..its just finding that right person to be able to date/test it etc..i do have a friend that works in that field but he doesnt think the same as us and probably wouldnt tell me the truth because he knows how i think🤣 Would be awesome to be able to put a date to them all though!! I might have to save up the pennies see if i can get some equipment of my own..😎💚

@@NickyBsHistory yea I dunno if all this carbon dating stuff is even accurate bro there's been lots of speculation if it even is accurate and been lots of conflicting data from different carbon dating company's apparently so unless we figure out a better way of telling then we prob are all never gonna know for sure mate with the current methods 🤷‍♂️👌💯💚🙏
