Tbh I don't get why Mario kart 8/deluxe gets so much hate these days. I feel Mario kart fans are like those of Zelda or 3d Mario.

The reason this game came out was because the mario kart team was working on arms and they wanted a mario kart game at launch, so if arms 2 is announced then no mario kart 9 for switch- I'm worried that could happen because of the great sales and spinoffs like mario kart tour and mario kart live.

Demeech: they have ignored Mario kart 8 deluxe for 4 years so they are obviously working on Mario kart 9 and it will come out soon.
