This lady is an inspiration to all nurses nationwide. I hope that when I get to 90 yrs young that I look & can move around like she does. What a blessing from God! I love my job my favorite people to take care of are geriatrics, pediatrics & animals. These three areas of the population are the most vulnerable. And no, no one wants to hear you reply with "little girl, you don't know what you're talking about, you probably don't know what hard work is". Check yourself. These comments demean what it means to deserve credit for working hard no matter what age. And as far as the elderly proving their "usefulness", the issue is really about people not respecting other people in general - regardless of their employment status. that is a blessing if your body allows you to still nurse. If not, God has plans for everybody. Nursing is definitely team effort. 7-3 and 3-11 are the best shifts. Nights are lovely but hard on your body clock in the long run. She is still a floor nurse. Wow!
