The Olympus M.Zuiko 40-150mm f/2.8 Pro and 1.4x teleconverter. The perfect landscape telephoto lens?

With all the talk at the minute of having to shoot with a 100-400mm for full frame landscape photography it got me thinking - how about the 40-150mm with 1.4x telelconverter instead? It's pretty close to a 100-400mm but with the added bonus of a nice bright f/4 fixed aperture.
