Seeing a decent build for only 1k gold is awesome. If you drop down to greens, you can maybe get 124 or lower gear score which is supposedly separated from 125+ according to rumors.

The skip leg day build or the one I posted about today the crusading templar build. They're mostly the same stat wise and perform similarly, just different ways to get to the stats.

Thoughts on Victory Strike? I've been running it recently and a victory strike riposte does an alarming amount of dmg

Haven't had much success personally with it. But I've been running sprint/adrenaline rush in solo duos and it's been working very well. Hard to slot victory strike in over second wind or adrenaline rush this wipe for me personally

LOVE oyur content, tried myself and i dont understand something, how do you do the overhead attack from the left after a parry instead of the 1st forward stab, for me italways start with the stab.

So the riposte attacks are triggered by right click not left. So after you parry, right click again to do the riposte attacks rather than left click that starts the thrust attack

Does Riposte not scale with strength? Or it does enough bonus damage that its better to focus on other stats?

@@TJG13NY yeah I find riposte carries fights by base scaling alone enough to justify pushing other stats. Full str vig builds are still plenty good in trios since you have more opportunity to make use of the str phys power scaling with ranged weapons and left clicks in chaotic fights. Str still good in solos and duos but I find it less suiting to my playstyle these days

the 10% action speed and move speed from counter attack is way less useful than the shield mastery. The 50% action speed on the next block from shield mastery is also applied to the riposte. So the first riposte is 50% faster

I mix the perks in as I can. When I'm running low/minimal gear it's shield mastery, sword mastery, counter attack, weapon mastery usually. When I'm in plate pieces it's hard not to take swift/defense expert so I end up giving up counter attack since even with counter attack the movespeed doesn't let me catch people that know to walk away after being parried when I'm in partial plate sadly

Oh for sure this is not an optimized build by any means lol. It's just a cheap fun hp stacker to go have fun with. Literally every real build in the game revolves around agi stacking and lightfoots/laced shoes and it's pretty sad
