Whaaaaaaattt Rev Chris is on here? I like Rev Chris. He seems to have a very grounded and healthy way of approaching religion to the “modern” people. I am not an atheists. I am very spiritual but I am turned off by the incessant mandate of religious approaches. I like his approach and it is quite admirable.

Hello! I wanted to comment on the story of the sons. What I took from that is your value as a person is determined by the wealth you create in monetary means. Paris was given to the one that invested and became a sustainable wealth creator. The second was given praise for just increasing even it it was only doubling the amount. While the one with 2 saved his and did not squander it away. It is also a great example of being poor. When you have so little a fear can be created to hold on to what you have. With having a negative judgment and taking away the gift that fear can create an attachment to hoarding so they do have is not taken away. There are lots of ways to look at this but I find it quite interesting that it is increasing wealth is what is popular in this story. Or morally correct.
