Hi Rev Chris: I love watching you and your wife on Korean Englishman and Jolly. I am so thankful to Jesus that he has moved you to share the word of Christ on KZbin! May his spirit work powerfully through you to share his word with others!

I've been really struggling with religion due to religious trauma but you're helping me come back Chris! Hearing you explain your experiences of getting in touch with God is so inspiring and really just so helpful. God bless you Chris!

@Anonymous Commenter Preach! Yeah I too grew up in a Muslim household and God was just taught as "if you don't listen - you will go to hell". There was no teaching of guidence or "God loves you" - it was just violence. When I came out of the closet - my father was awful and said how much he wanted to kill me. Leaving the religion was so benificial for my peace of mind! But hearing how Christina Grimmie & Rev Chris talk about God is slowly bringing me back - in a very positive way. They're so loving in the way they discuss God and they use him for guidence. It's amazing.

Yes. Jesus is God and religion makes things hard. Ephesians2:8-10 says we are saved by Grace through faith, not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast. We trust in Jesus and are saved, we cannot do anything to get saved. Trust in him as you're salvation, not yourself.

Hey me too!! I’ve also got religious trauma from the church but I love Jesus and am planning to stick with him, even if I’m not ready to be part of a church yet. (I would totally join one but none in my area feel safe) Rev Chris is so helpful in these times because I trust him enough from seeing him on JOLLY.

Thank you Rev Chris for this video. I’m in the home-stretch of my seminary experience for ordination in the Episcopal Church and for a while now I have felt like I’ve been in the wilderness. Your video today was like finding water and it reminded me of those moments I’ve had when the veil was lifted. Thank you. God bless you and your ministry.

Rev. Chris. I wanted to thank you for approaching the world with kindness. I struggle to see the positive a lot of the time and as such, I do my best to be kind and positive to others around me because it's a hard world a lot of the time. Your approach to Christianity and the value you place on approachability, understanding, and kindness (along with your humor and self-sense of imperfection) is something that is sorely lacking within many places of worship. So, thank you for being an example of a leader who is imperfect yet does their best and is open and willing to grow with their audience. It really means a lot to me and, from what I have read, it means a lot to many other people too.

My first ever Christian festival was New Wine in Shepton Mallet in 2019. It was wonderful, coming from a rural and small church, seeing so many siblings in Christ all coming together to worship with abandon. I hope, when the restrictions are lifted, Christians will be able to worship together like that again, with a renewed passion and humility learnt in the tragedy of the pandemic.

Thank you for that Chris. It is interesting how God reaches out to us individually and in a variety of ways. We must be discerning though as you point out. You've been really blessed with your experiences. I speak to the Lord as though he's right beside me all the time. I feel his presence like that. So sometimes I do get little experiences where I really feel his Spirit. It's awesome!

Reverend Chris. Praise the Lord. I just want to drop by and recommend for you to read, if you haven't already, the book called He Came To Set The Captives Free by Rebecca Brown. It has opened my espiritual eyes and helped me towards the delivering ministry. God bless. (Note: this book is very strong.)

So I came because of Josh and Ollie’s channels 😅.. and a lot of what you had to say about Christianity is really impactful, so I found your channel! Anyway, I really want to be ordained as a priest some time in the future, and I was wondering what advice do you have about that? How’s daily life? Especially with a family and how you’re raising your kids and loving your wife? And I was also wondering about your journey to priesthood. God bless!

Thank you for the lovely video, Rev. Greetings from America. I know it would be somewhat different from your regular content, but would you possibly consider maybe doing a tour of your parish church, and maybe discussing what it's like to live as a priest? Apologies if you've already done one like that and I've missed it.

I don’t know how familiar you are with the show Duck Dynasty or their fathers history with finding Jesus but Dusty Hill from ZZ Top passed and requested that Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty speak at his funeral…. Was wondering if you all could react to their podcast about it. It is titled “Unashamed”….what Phil said at ZZ Top’s Dusty Hills funeral and struggling to live a Christian life. It is a long podcast but I’m sure you could break it down. I would just love to see your prospective on their prospective.

I doubt you will see this message because you must receive so many but I need help. Like bad. Yesterday my sister was approached by a Pentecostal who basically told her if she doesn’t give her life to Jesus that she will burn in hell. My sister went out of her way to print out Bible verses that say God gives permission to Satan to do evil in the world such as babies getting raped and then brutally murdered. My sister is a victim of sexual abuse (she is 38 years old now) so she hates God because he wasn’t there to help her when she was going through it herself. As I listened to her I prayed for God to give me the right words to say to her…. I heard nothing. It’s a possibility that it’s not her time to believe in him yet but then again that doesn’t sound right. What on earth do I say to her or how do I explain the versus in the Bible that do say God did give permission to Satan?
