I have a huge amount of respect for that stunt man. Kept amazing composure, explained everything he was going to do. And treated the actors with a ton of space and respect. A great guy :)

But this video was amazing. Also hope to soon to be going to full sail university I Hurd about them from you and gave them a call. So thank you for all the help you have given me. And I will say as fun as film making is this stuff is super hard. So once again thank you. I've been working on this stuff since I was 13. As of now being 19 I understand a lot more. And you've helped me a long ways.

Good insight! BTS has got to be just one of the best and simplest ways to learn about the movie-making process. You can talk and theorise as much as you like, but at the end of the day, you've just got to DO it. Or in this case - watch someone else DO it.

Lunascope Media I'm not sure. With the clamp at the end and the windscreen on the front, it's really hard to tell. But there's a little, silver part between those that let me to believe it's an NTG3.

In proximity, Justin is the hunter, and in Sentinel he is the hunted. Was this intentional? Are they meant to be the same characters in this universe? If so, would that mean Sentinel takes place before Proximity? Where does Ballistic fit in? Is all of this setting up for your first feature? Who is behind all this? Is it Elon Musk? Jeff Bezos? Aliens? I have a lot of questions. So many much questions.

Hey, Ryan! As I'm watching the behind the scenes footage, do you feel like you had enough handles while editing? I'm learning that having action when going into a shot means it is easier to cut on that action. How do you determine how much action you need before and after a desired shot for appropriate handles. Thanks!
@filmriot6 жыл бұрын
It’s just a matter of knowing what you want/need. A lot of that comes with experience. But it’s always better to have more than not enough.

awesome trailer, great short and a whole channel of good tutorials! a little critique maybe - i know that would be quite hard to do but aniways: (this is my personal view and im not a professional in any aspect, just a hobby filmmaker) try to get the viewer to relate more to the main character AND the villian if possible (i know that it is a short, just was missing it a little). these flashbacks are cool but they take the emotional impact away. you know it is in the past AND that person isn't showing the emotion anymore. (and i wan't to see what happens next, not wait that long (just me)) The childrenmovie "up" is a great example. Like the movie was made for childrens, the story and plot not really complex and predictable but i still watched the whole movie, as i could relate to him, and his emotions sometimes really hit the audience. especially some parts. Villan wasn't that great though. batman movies and the spiderman movies had quite good villans i thought, at least part 2&3 (2002 to idk movies) there are many more with good ones. They have to belive that it is good what they do. A movie with a enemy that you can't relate to is often not that good. eg. that superman, batman, aquaman.. (idk., i forgot the name) on the other hand i will probably not forget so fast about thanos, as he thought that he was HELPING. the rest of the movie was really good, how everything seemd to be purposly decided by the director. how sound, acting, effects, cinematography, editing were just one together, and nothing seemed off. was a great expirience while watching it. id have still more to say but no time atm. maybe will write it here later. hope you can doo something with my feedback greatings marvin
