The One EDP Review

Thanks for the review Robert, this is one of my favourite fragrances in my collection, I keep this fragrance in my rotation in 150ml form so I can shower in it. The biggest tip I could give for anyone wearing this fragrance and getting subpar performance like you mentioned is to spray it on your clothes after you are done doing your regular spraying routine (which I suggest amping up anyway with this fragrance). I suggest a spray on each side of the chest and one on each arm inside of the elbow. And about the lens, it creates quite the lovely bokeh and I find that it has a warm quality to it. It definitely accentuates the reds and oranges better in the shot though the kitchen counter top shots felt a bit overexposed (the D&G box looked blueish and your hands were very bright). For an example of the nice warmness of this lens, compare the footage of you in the blue backlit room to the previous video and you will see that your hair colour here is more hazel brownish up top as compared to the more dark grey/dark brown colour of the previous video. Still far better B-roll than other channels anyway so no sweat, amazing for a lens that old on an adapter!

Great video Robert, Nice to see you back. The Lens looks fantastic. I'm a huge fan of the one dna. I have the edt concentrate, I've debated if it's that much different to get the edp version. I may have to get it.

Hi Robert and Good Morning from the UK! The video looks great and I love that you have been able to integrate equipment from 100 years ago! 😮 I love The One EDP but very rarely wear it out and about, this is my comforting, calming and sensual scent for bedtime. If it performed better I would use it more in public because the scent is very classy in my opinion. I have similar scent DNA's that do a better job in terms of projection, longevity and overall performance such as Stronger With You Intensely by Emporio Armani. However, I have recently looked into the effectiveness of layering fragrances with Iso E Super (01) and Ambroxan (02) in helping to amplify the scent. I have never tried either of these "molecules" but I have recently ordered the ingredients to make my own 01 & 02 and I hope to be able to recreate the effects of these two with my concoction. I hope to share my findings with you and the community on here. Have you tried any of these molecules essentric or otherwise? I also recently layered CDNIM Limited Edition EDP Version Mercedes Benz Club Black over the top of it and it hit big time! 😁

Hey There! Thanks for writing. No, I haven’t tried making my own fragrances yet. But I have observed that fragrances that include Iso E Super seem to have better longevity. However that particular ingredient causes me to get olfactory fatigue fairly quickly and I have a hard time smelling myself even though the fragrance is still blazing like a beast. I’ve had other folks comment on Stronger With You Intensely. I don’t currently have it in my collection but it’s going on my wishlist for Christmas!
