Glad Waddle finally pointed out something no one talks about enough-- interceptions shouldn't be the primary measure of cornerback effectiveness. It's volatile and dependent on so many factors. The same is true of sacks. Many teams are using a lot of quick game as opposed to drop back traditional pass plays, where sacks might come. Let's stop obsessing on sacks as if they're this be-all independent metric showing effectiveness of a D-lineman on the offense.

I don't think that he's going to have an issue beating Tennessee in week 1, but there are going to be a few games at the beginning of the season that are going to be tough including Houston, the Rams, and the jaguars. And when you throw in the fact that he's working with a rookie quarterback, although a talented rookie, you have to expect there's going to be some ups and downs in the first half of the season.
