Love your videos and the amazing work you do. I am definitely going to try the liver pate, looks amazing! It's always hard to be quiet when you're smarter than most, but it's really good to let others shine around you,, That's true beauty 😊

Thank you very much. We are happy you are enjoying the videos! Let us know how the pate turned out!!! :) Visiting all the other farms and setups was such a joy! It is always nice to see individual personalities shine though in each project.

A vossa quinta, o trabalho e os videos sao optimos. Obrigado. Uma sugestao: fechem com cimento por baixo e à volta da caixa fria, para evitar ratos a viver ali por baixo....

Hey there! What a fantastic week it's been. I was feeling nostalgic about the time when we used to raise 200 broilers every month for 6 months, from fall to spring. And don't even get me started on the pork - that was strictly a winter affair. It was such a labor of love, wasn't it? Good times!,KYV farm ,St Augustine Fl 2005 to 2016.

We are so much missing our pigs! We used to raise pork for years. The climate here and soil are not optimal. But we will have them here at one point for sure. Can not live without some pork every now and then :D 200 broilers/month! That is no joke. Seriously a labour of love. Were you pasturing them as well? Florida, must have been very humid and hot right?!

Very happy for you and ability for you to self-actualise through this project, have subscribed and will tune in to observe how you navigate it. I’ve been trying to figure out where you’re from as my partner is Danish and I can hear something similar in your accent but despite you having spoken a little in another language in this episode, I wasn’t able to latch onto what it was most probably because I’m not a speaker of that language but my question essentially is… Are you from Scandinavia/Denmark? You don’t have to answer if this is too revealing, but I’m just curious
@thefarmingchefs7 ай бұрын
Thanks for subscribing and following us along! I am Dutch :D No problem to ask, it is not a secret. We are very close to the Danes. We love to ride our bicycles :D Where are you from? If that's ok to ask :)
@fortheloveofwater_6 ай бұрын
@@thefarmingchefs oh yes, well that would make perfect sense if your Dutch as even though I’m sure many people between either country Wood disagree with my sensibility, when a person from either Denmark or the Netherlands, speaks in English I hear a similarity in tone. I myself am from the UK, London to be specific I’ve been living here for awhile and trying to get into the regenerative agriculture/agra forestry section of society by establishing a project for myself but social mobility and access to a means of transitioning out of the instabilities and restrictions of rented accommodation I am however, learning to practice/avidly dedicated to Regenerative polyculture, environmental restoration and water sequestration/water table we generation Amongst other subjects, in my Mika tiled terrace container garden. Minus the water sequestration, that’s just an interest area and part of my future desires when practising Syntropic polyculture. Regarding your most recent upload, I sincerely think that you should publish that video for people such as myself and I would reckon, a significant “ niche “ audience/fellow thinkers of and about future proofing agronomics, circular economics, the shifting of value systems and the importance of societal health in so much as there are intersections with sociology and agriculture. So please publish that conversations and I can only hope to contribute within time once I find a way to climb that Social ladder towards land acquisition and managing the bureaucracies of land management in opposed to rental conditions. 🤣🌱

Sorry, but I don't like the loud crazy music. You enjoy the peace and quiet of country life. Please try your best pass on the same in ambient music. KeepSmiling ☺️🌺

Thank you for your honest opinion. We most of the time are indeed enjoying the peaceful sounds and the quiet of country life. But sometimes we need a bit of adrenaline to pump us through the heavy work 😅. We won't overdo it ;)
