oda recently give some info that may refer franky real father in supplymentary materials with characters bio. he also weirdo, self made cyborg and have son, abandoned right at that time, cose joining pirate crew. oda dont say directly and they dont intersect at all in ark where ''father" was big role so it is not like a spoiler. just bit of info from tens of years later original out

how do you know about crocus being on roger crew ? did you get spoiled ? cause i'm pretty sure the reveal of crocus being part of roger's crew is something that come up later maybe i'm remembering it wrong since i grew up with one piece and never really rewatched or reread it but i'm pretty sure you shouldn't know that yet and yeah most ppl in the world of one piece don't know that cause crocus was a part of roger crew for just a little while so he got off under the radar

It was confirmed/spoiled over time but it seemed heavily implied from the fact that he was a doctor on a pirate crew and when Luffy was sailing away he was talking to "Roger" so it just seemed logical
