The first teaser of the LA made fans skeptical..cz it did not show Luffy in good camera angles. People called him Old like in his 30s Then this reaction dropped, the cast reacting to the "teaser", and Iñaki got teary eyed...it was at that moment, we saw the crew dynamic IRL, and this Kid living n loving it, and most of the internet just switched to Pro LA. 95% I guess..will say he is Luffy through n through.

10:54 Definitely FALSE. If anything, OPLA Garp is a softie compared to animanga Garp, he just laughed a lil less and is played by an actual real life person instead of being a cartoon, hence why ppl perceive him as harsher. By the point you reached in the anime it was made clear that Luffy and Garp have a... violent dynamic going on. It's revealed that Garp beat up and endangered Luffy all the time as a kid in order to "train" him to be a Marine. Sure, it's played for laughs, but he definitely hurts his grandson. A Lot. The flashback we got in OPLA barely scratched the surface, I guess bc it would automatically get flagged as abusive, which it is, but it's harder to pass it for laughs when you see an actual child being hurt on screen. "Fist of love" is one of Garp's favorite moves for a reason. And this with the info y'all already have. tbh OPLA Garp is quite accurate, just the ridiculousness is toned down a bit, but they did that with all characters because it wouldn't translate as well in live-action.
