Well, from my point of view, I think that the reason that Murata decided to enter the field of the multiverse is to help and provide an argument for other writers or fans to be creative with their ideas and stories freely and comfortably, under the pretext that these stories took place in a parallel universe, for example (fan manga Terra 2 Saitama or Garou Terra 3 or Saitama vs. Goku...etc.)

The debate on whether it's canon or not is still in the air as dbs is supposed to take place between the 10 year time gap before the dbz finale but there's way too much either missing or altered so it's generally considered noncanon but at the same time it hasn't be explicitly proven that's its no longer canon so no one can really say for sure.

Think of GT as a movie. Before DBS, no movie was ever canon. They all existed as alternative stories. But that shouldn’t stop people from enjoying them. GT got a lot of hate from purist manga fanboys to the point the story had to be shortened to end it sooner than it was supposed to. GT’s case reminds me of Star Wars Prequels, people loved to bash those movies into oblivion (even the main actors were bullied endlessly)… until the Sequels arrived and they started to finally appreciate the Prequels because what they got without George Lucas was a total disaster. I wish I could say the same about GT but the level of fanboyism in the fans is so immense that they still consume DBS just because they have more Dragon Ball to watch. They were starving for more CANON DB for so many years that now that they got it, they are incapable of admiting the new DB is an atrocious mess. Nowadays when people see GT they might give it a compliment, like admiring SSJ4, but not before criticizing the anime and writing a list of every flaw and things they don’t like about it.

I just hate the idea that some other God gave Saitama power.... I just can't make sense out of it. The whole point of Saitama's intense training was that through sheer hardwork and a strong will he became the strongest. Also One's other work like in Mob Psycho, Kageyama/Mob wasn't the strongest psych because of some secret heritage or without someone's help. Just a crazy idea that popped in my head, might not make sense but maybe the Saitama who broke his limiter is a singularity, and now we are seeing this possible multiverse theory happening and maybe in all the other universes Saitama never broke his limiter and never tried to become a hero cause he through he was to weak and useless , therefore he would remain as job seeker Saitama. As we know at the beginning of the of the series when Saitama was looking for work he kept getting rejected over and over again leaving him soulless, maybe Saitama goes to a really dark place and out of nowhere God appears and offers his power to Saitama making a evil Saitama, but God doesn't stop there. God will hop from universe to universe making the same deal with many other Saitama's over and over again, so the end battle apart from God will be limitless evil Saitama's vs one good limitlessly powered Saitama, I think that would be pretty cool. If I recall correctly, there’s actually a chapter where Blast and Sitch (?) are talking about how in the recent couple of years, there have been far more monster attacks that also upscale in terms of strength. Aka there are more and more powerful villains popping up monthly. And then Blast, I think, says that “It’s almost as if something is drawing them here” or smth similar overtop an image of Saitama walking. Aka this could mean that God has definitely known about someone strong in this universe and that it is this strong presence that is causing God to create more monsters and attack the Earth more often (monsterization comes from people with strong desires, such as a love for crabs or lizards or growing too attached to a costume and a character, and God seems to capitalize on offering power to fulfill the desires of his avatars, so monsterization could just be another form of God’s presence slowly leaking into this universe and mindlessly granting people with certain attributes powers to further solidify his connection to this universe). This is made more apparent by the centipede monster as well as God himself referring to Saitama as “the fist that turned against God”, meaning that God does know about Saitama and his strength. And has known for a while now, as well as wanting to deal with Saitama. For he says something along the lines of “What better to fight the fist that turned against God than the fist of God?” to Garou. Which is saying that God knows that Saitama is a threat and is now trying to attack Saitama more directly through his avatars. We’ll have to wait to see if this is correct, though.

Apparently Empty Void can perceive the One Punch Man universe in 5 dimensions through a 3 dimensional perpective. That explains the bubbles coming from the light that is the One Punch Man universe and the bubbles are different points in time and space within that same universe. The 5th dimension can be visualized as the many if not all the different possible scenarios(timelines) within an universe(in this case the OPM universe). The 3d perspective is what allows him to achieve his dimensional slashes within a place and time of his choosing.

On top of all this other stuff I kind of want to see blast turn evil, I know he's your favorite but with everything that you spoke of just in your theories of how he became powerful and so on and so forth there's a good possibility that blast is like the ultimate super villain. He literally has doubles of all of the same enemies that saitama has destroyed in the past but maybe blast doesn't want like destruction he wants domination.
