This shit is so true. I was partying in Vegas; needed some new clothes to hit up the club. Stopped by the John Varvatos store just to pick up some new pants for the club that night. The sales women was super knowledgable; great suggestions. Offered me some whiskey as I shopped. A week after I arrived back home in SF, I received a beautiful hand written "thank you" card on expensive card stock. The next time I went to Vegas, I didn't even pack for the entire vacation, because one of the first things I was going to do was head to that Varvatos store to buy some new clothes from my new favorite sales lady. And I did so every time I went to Vegas for next two years. It was bitter sweet when I stopped by and she no longer worked there because she moved up to Varvatos corporate.

I'm underperforming from a physical and business standpoint. Today I commit to refocusing and making my physical health a priority now. Not tomorrow. Looking back tomorrow easily slips away over and over again. If I do not have the energy and mental clarity that comes from being healthy how can I be the best me for me and my family and those I am teaching and inspiring? And also efficiently implement the ideas and inspired thoughts I have and learn to launch my business and message further? My KZbin Channel has been exploding lately and it is both a source to inspire as well as a means to make a damn good living as a stay at home mom. I look forward to shifting from making a damn good living to providing the opportunity for others to make a damn good living as well! I look forward to what the near future and the next 100 years holds! Thanks for the inspiration. In another video you mentioned the 5 people you spend the most time with that you will earn within a certain range of what they each earn. I have made it a point to spend time listening to you and others from a distance. Because my mind and the universe does not see the difference between time spent listening over KZbin verses in person. So I am applying that aspect in my life digitally. Since doing so and shifting my mindset and actions that MADE my KZbin Channel explode! The numbers won't be finalized until I get paid on the 21st so I cannot quote an exact figure but it has atleast tripled since I started implementing that mindset and surrounding myself with knowledge. So thank you for that unexpected gift Tai!

@Andraphile7 жыл бұрын
You can! Believe it - declare it aloud and work towards it. One thing though. Don't think like those failing do. They say that they cannot do it and their actions follow their words - a poor mentality. Think like those succeeding do. Declare repeatedly that you will get a job and let your actions follow your words to make that happen. What do the rich do? they do what everybody else does not do. Research what the successful minority do who are ahead of the majority. They either do things a cut above the rest, or come a different quite unique way. The fact that you are here shows that you are in a good place and well on the way already.

Win: I started a real estate wholesale business and within 2 days I partnered up with a local multi-millionaire real estate investor in my local city. Loss: After I made the arrangement I started trying to delegate duties out to friends and family and they all dropped the ball and cost me a lot of time and money. Win: I took back control of everything and began handling things myself and now I'm putting houses under contract at least 3 times a week. The lesson I learned was to give people a shot, but don't prolong bad situations.

+Aanand Bajaj The east coast. You into real estate?
@AanandBajaj8 жыл бұрын
kendrick Bowman Yeah! how'd you get the capital to start your business?
@kendrickbowman34168 жыл бұрын
+Aanand Bajaj Right now i'm investing nothing but time. I'm using the Craigslist FSBO section. In my local market you get a motivated seller 1 in every 300 leads. It provides me 21.357 leads per day. But there are a lot of other wholesellers on that, some have deals that you can wholesale so the over all lead to contract rate is a little over 1% which means I get a contract 1 in every 100 leads consistently. It doesn't cost me anything to send some emails. I just contact everyone who posts everyday. I break my numbers down even further, but that's the most important part. How many leads it takes to get a deal. It might be the same in your market as well. My situation is a bit different though because we buy the houses and then flip them. We don't have to make an assignment contract. Now, I formed that relationship with an investor so I got access to his millions of dollars to buy properties with. You can do the same thing. These guys who hire bird dogs or whatever, just be like fuck that. Find an investor who is into wholeselling that has the money to buy their own properties. Just cold call or do the normal stuff that locates cash investors and see if they are interested in wholeselling. Then explain to them how you all can split the profits where you get the deals and then use their connections and resources to sell the deals. The guy is mentoring me now which is another side benefit. I was in a situation that I actually had 0 income, and a negative bank balance so what I did was looked for ways to become a wholeseller for free. Soon I'll be expanding things. I have plans for facebook add campaigns, some google display network stuff and a ton of other lead generation methods that I now have the money to pay for. But to answer you question, I planned on selling lead packages to investors at first to generate the money to pay for the business. I found tons of investors in a different city and began cold calling them to sell them semi-exclusive lead packages of 20, 30, and 50. Semi-exclusive means the lead can be sold 3 times. So if someone bought a 50 lead package, I could sell all of those leads in say another 20,30,20,30 because those 50 leads can be distributed into all 5 of those packages 3 times. They would pay upfront and then I would take the money and use it to fulfill the order by paying for stuff like mailing campaigns or whatever. Finally, using the left overs to fund my main business. Creating marking money out of thin air. I started this but then it dawned on me I could launch the wholesale business for free, and it would be the highest paying thing I could do with the time in my days, and so I stopped selling leads and just focused on the wholesale business.

Discipline holds me accountable for everything I do. Without discipline I would not wake up everyday 5am, while everyone is sleeping, to get in a cold pool and do some laps. I would not have a good diet and would most likely not perform well in my sport. With discipline I am also always on top of my school schedule, staying ahead and never missing any assignment. Discipline has taught me how to deal with goals and how to never give up when things get harder. DISCIPLINE MAKES EVERYTHING I TOUCH TURN INTO GOLD.

How does one manage such good discipline that is one thing I want to handle in Life
@tomk.98038 жыл бұрын
+BJ Blazkowicz Discipline comes out of being able to step out of your comfort zone. Write a list of things that you feel you need/must do, but have a bad attitude in actually accomplishing them. Simplify them to single actions you can take. Then you do yourself a favor: every single day make one of them happen. Over time you'll feel more and more comfortable in doing so and that's gold in my opinion, that's where the growth is. I'm not gonna explain the whole big picture why this is super-beneficial to you, just do as I say and see for yourself what it does to your mindset. It definitelly worked for me and keeps working even further, sometimes I'm amazed when I have the time to look back and see the results I've accomplished. A year ago feels like 10+ years ago, that's how much I've been able to grow myself. Face your fears, face your demons. Just step out of your comfort zone.

Well, the thing I did that really left an impression was when: a couple weeks ago at school, my mom was picking me up for the dentist and the lady at the desk said: excuse me are you (my name)'s mother? She says yes and she says back, He is such a good kid, such a good kid. And then the other lady that works behind the desk as well heard the positivity and she said: (my name) is such a great student, I love when he says hi to me in the hallway and tells me to have a good day. I notice the little things I do are making the difference. My weaknesses are my time management.

I'm struggling in college. I don't like the time constraint we have to learn individually when we can learn as a whole class. I want to share my ideas and answers whether it's a mathematic class or my East Asian studies class. I don't have many friends to talk to about Knowledge cause you now they already heard what the professor had to said while I want to start where the class left off. And I also have to work in order to support my family to alleviate some of the bills after my father passed away earlier this year. So it's hard to for me at least to flourish in college as I have to leave classes to go to work and be less social. But what I can say is that I love self educating myself and reading and watching videos such as this one. My buddy and I are brainstorming our first company/business to start. And he doesn't go to college. But that doesn't mean we don't want to learn because we are obviously reading books that they won't teach you in college let alone hear about the book or author. I was talking to another student from school, he is my friend now, and I was sharing my knowledge and books I had read, he had no idea who these authors or books were. He studied business at first but switch to Economics. I am currently in mechanical engineering but I one day dream to achieve owning my company.
@Doctrtony8 жыл бұрын
I felt the same way, but you don't need college to succeed, sometimes it's easier to teach yourself. Since you're watching this video you already have the brains to go out and do it yourself. School kind of forces us to buy books that are boring for expensive prices, and all teachers do is just quiz us on the boring book. You have so many books available to you in so many different subjects that are often free or are under 20 dollars. You know that you want to learn, so just pick up the book and read it!! It's so much easier than getting a degree and trust me a piece of paper in this counts isn't worth nearly as much as a strong confident personality, if you have the knowledge and the knowhow, why do you need a piece of paper showing it!? You can do it man, go out and read your own books, finish your semester and take a siesta. I hope you succeed in your business!

THIS is gold. This is about your attitude towards getting stuff done in life. Do you do a half ass job just to get by or do you give it 110% and make sure that client is beyond satisfied. The best video I've seen from Tai so far. Doing great things educating others 👍

The biggest area I have struggled turning into gold would probably be my social life in general. I have always felt kind of awkward, subconsciously feeling as if I had less value than anyone else. The biggest area I am succeeding in turning into gold now would be changing my habits and mindset simultaneously. I have made more progress in the last 2 months than I have in the last 2 years. It is all finally clicking for me. KZbin played this video on autoplay for me... And I am so glad it did. This video felt extremely personal to me, as if you were talking directly to me. Tai, you may not know me yet, but you are one of the biggest people responsible for my life changing right now. I am still in the early stages, but I can see the changes in myself and even in my circumstances and interactions with others. I will meet you. I do not know when or how, but I know that that time will come.

I want to make a video game - its my passion, my dream job, and a way to make something in my life. All the time i hear from my family, my friends - stop working on my game, and get a job. A job will make me money, but makes it impossible to pursue my dream. What do i do? Do i go with my game and make more money than i can imagine, or find a job as a retail assistant or waiter and wait until later on my game? Short term money, or long term success?

***** the problem is that I CAN actually make it! I just always run out of motivation before I can finish it, or I am overly ambitious with my ideas. Thank you though, guess ill have to consider all my options over the next few months.

I really want to go to VFS, since they do a specialist game course that only takes a year and teaches you everything you need to know. Since I'm from England, I cant get a student loan for it, and my only chance is to get a scholarship. I didn't do so well in my college subjects, and the only way I can see them listening to me is if I make a more complicated game that turns heads. Either way, far fetched, but I know I can do it!

Tai, this was my favorite video I've seen you do thus far. What am I doing right? I work hard and give my best everyday and my best is above average and people are impressed. What am I doing wrong? Working hard for earned income (two jobs, single mom, late 40's) does NOT get me ahead. It gets me tired and living in debt & scarcity. Question: When it's late in life for someone, what can I do (where I'm at right now) to make a life change so grand that my kids see me as a mentor, a person they would want to emulate, and a life they would want to have for themselves. They see a person now that works hard and gives their best every time but they see someone struggling financially all the time, so they see hard work and doing your best as futile and meaningless. They see someone who never gets ahead. B/t/w, in 48 years of my life, I've never reached out like this, ever; this is a first for me. I've never had a mentor. So, I'm curious for your response and whether there will be one.

Hey Angela. My name is Armande. Im no Tai Lopez but like yourself I appreciate his insight. Sometimes when I check interesting videos like this one I wonder what the people think in the comments. I couldn't help but notice your story. I once had a mother who was as hard working as you. So if by chance you feel the same way now I would like to share some LIFE changing information about Financial Literacy. Let's talk about how we can protect your family from financial struggle. Message me personally. Best

Underperforming/Weaknesses - My Online Business building efforts. Execution minimal. Strengths/Going Up - My Personal Development. I'm increasingly becoming more self aware of my limiting beliefs around my own self esteem, attitudes towards money, friends I listen to or interact with and negativity in general. Everyday I work to improve the quality of the person I intend to become so that one day...just like you said...I'll have a great story to share centred around coming from divorced parents, a battered self-esteem and economic struggle to wealth, abundance and philanthropy!!
