lachy!!! you can disable the thermal sight!!!! next time yoh get one, look in the bottom half of the scope it has a keybind to disable the thermal, you can turn it on and off as you need!!!

The way the gun works is weird, I think it only gives the damage buff if you are still aiming down sights when it hits, because i know you could even cheese it to make the shield do extra damage by throwing it then scoping in with the monarch, so i think thats what is happening when it's doing 47
