@@DeputyDong420 He's doing well for a rookie QB right now. I feel bad for him being drafted by the Patriots though. Out of the teams picking in the top 5 of the draft the Patriots are the team with the worst offensive line and weakest receiver room. If New England wants him to flourish they should invest in those positions in my relatively worthless opinion.

Mac’s is elite. Arguably much better. Mac needed to mature a little or learn to keep composure and not be a tennis brat. The divide that Drake makes though is with his size, arm strength and a greater threat with the ball in his hands as a runner.

That first play yiu showed really made me optimistic abkut Maye being the guy. The receiver runs a bad route and basically forces double coverage, and Maye on the run not only has the confidence to make the throw knowing if its not there he has the flat, but the TALENT to put that ball on a line right into his hands. And of course because Jalyn Polk is a waste of space, mister "best hands in the league" completes his terrible route by dropping the pass

I'm really happy with what I've seen from Drake. The bar wasn't high as Mac Jones noodle arm, toddler tantrums, and awful decision making was one of the worst things I've ever had to watch as a fan. Maye looks confident, competent, and everything I had hoped he'd be coming out of the draft. Unfortunately the Patriots as an organization are such a mess right now that his solid play has gone overlooked. Mayo has got to go. If he can't field a good defense he has no value as a HC. Was so pissed when they didn't look to Vrabel, he'd have been perfect for this team and a young qb like Drake. Also Polk has been dreadful. The pats wr draft curse continues. Edit: I did not know this was Chase Daniel breaking this down it just popped up on the algorithm. Good stuff man, just subbed.

So, they now have a good QB but, the word is "Team" and so many pieces missing. They have what's left of this losing season and the off season. It's time for Kraft to step in and straight out this mess. It will be interesting to see what happens

@BaronVonMunch 22 сағат бұрын
The biggest problem is the horrible coaching and gm. Kraft is just being very cheap and paying very little to a bunch of 1st year guys completely wasting the top qb pick. Kraft is a greedy pig. He needs to sharpen up and spend or the fans need to run him out of town. Possible franchise qbs don't grow on trees. This is ridiculously frustrating and Kraft should be shamed into doing what's right.

I'm a little concerned with his throwing motion...it's sometimes (not always) a little long and slingy. It causes him to sail balls and it's going to expose him to strips from the backside when he's in the pocket. He seems to take coaching well though, as his footwork has gotten much better, so it's something he should be able to refine with time.

I’m starting to have that feeling again I had with Tom Brady. Where every time he drops back and throws, I always feel like it will be a completion. I have not had that feeling since Tom left. Every time Drake drops back I just have a great feeling that the ball will be completed. He just turned 22 years old. Obviously there will be mistakes, but we are rebuilding just like Detroit. They signed a quarterback, but we are rebuilding with a young one and we will go sign a good pass rusher and a good tackle. Get a veteran receiver.

The real issue is they are probably the worst coached team in the league. Kraft needs to fix that next year or else he is just wasting a great qb prospect. Polk has been dropping everything lately so Maye may need to start avoiding him on purpose if that continues. He looks like a really good qb on a really poorly coached team. Half the time most of the players aren't even putting in much effort. You can see they don't respect the coaches at all.
