Mayo was a LB coach for a couple years. All his experience playing is under Belichick. His woefully light coaching experience is under Belichick - yet all we ever hear is how they want to break from Belichick. In fact, the first thing Mayo touted was that he was going to be a much different coach than Belichick. Who’s going to tell him?

damned if you do damned if you don't, he closes shop like BB and media will be mad.

Jarrod Mayo has no experience..it was doomed from the hiring point. Bill doesn't let his coaches learn how to be a coach because he is such a a micro manager, guarded of his trade secrets etc .
@joshuamcneely302820 сағат бұрын
@patriotsloco9724 This is not true at all. The problem with most of these men is that they try to be like Bill and bring the "Patriots' way" with them, which does not always work. Bill O'Brien has a winning record as a head coach and the most wins for a head coach for the Texans (which will soon be broken). Brian Flores looks like he could be a good head coach, and if the Dolphins were a good organization, he would probably still be the head coach. You also have to remember that these guys had to work with GMs, so it wasn't always the players they wanted. Bill picked anyone he wanted if he wanted them. Bill went 5-11 in his first year, and the team didn't look great. I wonder what people would say about him if social media had been around then.

Not they are soft they have one five games in almost two seasons he has to try fucking something to get better effort smarter play less selfish plays got people hunting for there own exactly why there's People losing contain! @Jack-ms3soКүн бұрын
Mayo said van pelt is the head coach of the offense! That’s nonsense there is one head coach who should be overseeing all facets! You save your soft comments for the locker room. You don’t publicly insult your players. My take is almost all the coaches are new! Including the GM. OC, DC and HC. I put that on Kraft! Who does that!
@unrulybillКүн бұрын
What do you expect from a linebackers coach? Dude wasn’t even a DC before this. Terrible decision on the Krafts part.

The only thing worse than the pats right now is the Boston media coverage piling on. The team is rebuilding, and it takes more than 7 games to build a team. Bill dropped more games with the pats than the previous Carrol regime when he took over. It just takes time, and pats fans can afford to be patient while savoring our 6 super bowl championships.
@googlechicken21 сағат бұрын
Piling on ? They should have been trashing the Mayo hire from day one. It was a stupid move to make him head coach and Mayo is not only inept. But he is a backstabber. I’m not a Belichick apologist but the guy deserved better than what he got from the Patriots on the way out. I think it’s awesome that he is now putting the slippers to Mayo while he is down. I can’t think of a guy more deserving

You kind of got your facts backwards. He came out and said they were a soft football team. I did not like the Mayo choice from the very beginning but even in my wildest imagination I could not have foreseen him screwing things up to this degree and this quickly. His one qualification was supposed to be being able to relate to today’s players and to handle the media better than the Dark one. We have first year players going on social media and saying peace out. And a free agent signee who has done almost nothing in his career basically demanding a trade. He is so not ready to be a head coach it’s not even funny. Every time this guy opens his mouth he puts his foot in it. Everyone complaining about Belichick “ piling on “ is hilarious. I don’t blame him the Patriots bashed him all the way out the door so the fact that he is dumping all over this clown show is not only justified, it should be expected

Never through any of his players under the bus. Terry Glenn was allowed to sit and be irrelevant during the season including interview with Lobel. WSe only talk about players that PLAY.
