Fields spent last season running for his life getting sacked 55 times in 16 games he played. He literally kept the team in games they had no chance to be in till late. Now if they're able to fix that offensive line and get a defense that can stop anyone from scoring look out.

I been saying fields got the talent… his passing is not consistent even when he has time in the pocket but he is in the exact same position as hurts, first two szns where lackluster and in there 3rd szn they both got that WR1 that helped them develop… fields cieling is what Jalen hurts is rn

The TJ Watt situation I understand but the big thing for Pittsburgh is Matt Canada, he holds this offense back so much compared to how it used to run

Fax bro, I’m a huge Steelers fan, but we are way to loyal to coaches, we never fire anybody, we just let their contracts expire, which sucks bc Matt Canada needs to get out ASAP if we want Kenny to develop into a good QB with someone who can give him a good offense. They say they want to keep him for one more year so Kenny doesn’t have to transition, but it’s better to just get rid of him before it’s too late.

Fontenot is doing fine. We have holes because of the Matt Ryan and Julio jones contracts and their lasting effects. This is the first offseason they’ve had with any substantial amount of cap space. Also, Drake and Kyle fit perfectly into smith’s system. He likes big receivers. Think AJ Brown (he was the OC when AJ was drafted after all). That’s why the falcons don’t have a duo of Ja’maar chase and Garrett Wilson, even though those were both popular picks to make. The reason they’re numbers don’t match draft status this year was because of mariota and injury for Pitts.

“Will Fields develop as a passer or will he stagnate” You tell me, he’s going from his receiving core being Byron Pringle, Pettis, Equanamious St. Brown, and an injured Darnell Mooney, to a fring top 10 receiver in DJ Moore, a solid WR2 in Mooney, and a top 5 wr3 in Claypool. Also we added one of the best guards in the NFL so Justin doesn’t get sacked 58 times. Prolly ganna add Paris Johnson 9th overall too. Do you think all these additions will have a positive or negative impact? I think we all know the answer.

Daniel Jones' regression... did they even hear about how he texted his new receivers to ask them to work out in the offseason to get work in early? Y'all just ignored the fact the the receiving corps was basically decimated last season and that the defense still needs depth. Jones isn't holding the Giants back, it's the fact that they've never had a full season with every weapon healthy and productive.

As a Jets fan who grew up and still lives in Bills territory, as much as I love the concept of placing all the team’s blame on Allen, it simply is unfair and is extremely surface level analysis on your part. The problem with the Bills isn’t just Josh Allen, its the fact that the offensive scheme is ENTIRELY DEPENDENT on Josh Allen. Dorsey did an awful job as coordinator last year. Dude ran deep pass plays on nearly every down, barely ran the ball even when their RBs did good, and nearly every play boiled down to “Josh find Diggs and lob him up a deep ball” or “Josh run for your life and get us the first down.” This schematic failure was only made all the more obvious by how Godawful the Bills O-line were and how deficient they are at the receiver position past Stefon Diggs. The Bills need to give Allen another receiving threat, a better O-line, and run the ball more. Oh yeah, and learn how to run passing concepts that aren’t 15+ yds deep and take time that Allen doesn’t have to develop. The biggest caveat you can add to this is the fact that Josh DOES have a penchant for the all or nothing play. There are plenty of occasions where you can see his checkdowns open and yet he insists on lobbing a fifty/fifty ball to Diggs that led to unnecessary interceptions. But by and large, I wouldn’t place the majority of the team’s concerns on his recklessness.

Lions fan over here. The way TE's are used on the roster is less for their receptions and more for their blocking. The three on the team are certainly capable of big plays when needed, but Ben Johnson is more accustomed to use them to open up routes for the other receivers on the roster. It's the main reason as to why TJ was a relatively easy trade to make, as he wanted to be paid top money despite the fact that he didn't truly fit with Detroit's offensive scheme. I wouldn't be mad if they drafted a tight end, but it's not a huge priority. I think the bigger problems Detroit faces are whether a mostly young defense can take another leap forward next year, along with finding a viable QB2 in case Goff gets taken out of the picture for whatever reason.

Seattle's weakness being "weak defense" isn't even true... Their defense is gonna be top 10 next season and their weakness, if any, is probably depth at running back, wide receiver, and the defensive line, but even that they can fix in the draft... Just draft (if u want a qb at 5, go for it) 2 defensive linemen with the first 2 picks (along with trading down with both) and get more picks to add depth at wide receiver, running, and defensive line... Even then, you can still afford to get a qb at 5 and get a guy like bresee at 20 (trade down to like 25) and a nose tackle like mazi smith at 37, and they can also get a receiver like cedric tillman at 52 or maybe even 83 and the cornerback class is pretty deep so you can probably get really good ones in the 4th round like eli ricks or rejzohn wright (if they are going for lengthy corners as they usually do) It's too early to say weaknesses when the draft hasn't even happened yet *My ideal draft for Seattle* 5. Anthony Richardson, QB 20. Trade down to 25 and get Bryan Bresee, DT 37. Mazi Smith, NT 52. Julius Brents, CB 83. Cedric Tillman, WR 123. Dorian Williams, LB 151. Rejzohn Wright, CB 154. Robert Beal Jr., Edge 198. Chris Rodriguez, RB 237. Anfernee Orji, LB

Blaming Josh Allen is ridiculous. He accounts for 80% of Buffalo’s yards and puts up with a poorly coached defense. Blame McDermotts playoff defense!

If the first four pics are QB's, SEA will win the draft by selecting Will Anderson. This will fix their defense.

For the bills I don't think it's on Josh Allen all that much and I think it's more on how much the bills depend on him

To me, Hackett was the biggest weak link. When Rosberg took over, Russ had his BEST games with Denver. You can also argue our O-line was a big problem too. Russ took what? 60+ sacks in 15 games? Run block in Mike and pass block in Ben, A lot of pressure will be taken off Russ, and I'll give him three games to show what he can do. After week three, if we arent 2-1 or 3-0, (and its obvious to be on Russ) Sean should then put in Stidham for 3 weeks and see how he performs. After week 6, that's when the final decision should be made (granted neither are injured) I have hope, small hope, but hope nonetheless. At worst, we're 9-8 a positive season. At best we go 12-5. Cmon September.. let's get here faster.

As a Lions fan I think Brook Wright fight in fine with the Lions and the signings they made this offseason made this team way stronger As for KC if the best team in the NFL last year can't beat Mahomes on one leg I think KC can beat anyone now that Mahomes is back to 100% healthy

Pittsburgh ending with a winning record had little to do with Watts return, Pec injuries take a long time to recover from and Watt was only a shadow of himself after he returned and Pitt still ended with a winning record, Watts health isn’t Pitts biggest problem he may help alot but Pitt doesn’t need him to win they are a franchise that can win with anyone.

11:42 You could've said offensive line (PFF's worst for the past two seasons) or a lack of pass catching options, but no, let's go after the guy that without those issues was around a top 10 QB. Can't disagree on Malik Willis though. In projecting when teams would win their first or next Super Bowls, you put us down for 2048, claiming that we didn't have a winning culture, so that's an improvement. However, some consistency and research would be appreciated.

I totally disagree on the part about the Eagles. Their roster doesn't look extremely different, nor was the secondary torn apart. We lost players that are, despite their performance, easily replaceable. Our offence was barely even touched. All we lost was Miles Sanders, and we picked up Penny and already have Kenny Gainwell. I don't see how we lost in free agency. We may have to retool our scheme, but it's not a desperate scenario

On this, I would say the only thing holding the Eagles back is the Coordination of the Defense. Gannon was absolutely horrendous with his halftime changes going into the second half during every playoff game, allowing that massive run from Matt Breida, the McCaffery run, and all of the wide open Kadarius Toney and Travis Kelce catches, all of which happened in the second half. While he performed expectantly in the regular season, except the games where Hurts was absent, his failure to make notable halftime adjustments the way Daboll, Shanahan and Reid were able to is what buried the Eagles' secondary. I'd say our biggest needs improvement for the 2023-24 season is definitely retooling our defense in the second halves to match the opposing teams adjustments.

No, the steelers need a new offensive coordinator, that's the problem. The steelers offense needs to score more points. One player being in or out should not determine a season. Yes watt is amazing, but he can't be the only player on the field.

Seattle added Jones, Bush, Love, Wagner to defense, and they have 4 picks in the top 52 of the draft. Pretty weak take on Seattle being weak defense at this point. Adams health would have been a better choice.
