Agreed, 11.5 suppressed AR in 5.56 that has wear part compatability with all other AR's out there is the base firearm, but I chose a red dot with magnifier combo. I don't use the in between magnification on the LPVO's so I cut some weight and improved my 1x while still having magnification when I need it. I can also take off the magnifier for night time use if I want.

11.5 rocks when it comes to short but keeping the gas/velocity considerations. Also if you are suppressing that length is nice as well. I say 11.5-12.5 is the best “all around” shorter rifle/pistol.

I thought that I would stick to 9mm ammo, so I have a glock 19x, P365xl and keltec sub 2000 with glock mag, so I can use the same magazines so i can stock up and keep them loaded. I got the m Carbo optics mount for the sub 2000. My goal is to have 3 of each so I have a backup and one for parts if anything isn't available. I'm a beginner and I was just trying to keep things simple, sticking to one type of ammo. There are probably tons of flaws in my thinking, but that is where I started.
