I guess it's a perception of change, but on ground how much of it translates to vote transfer is the question. PK put it nicely in one of his interviews, lot of people lost the hope for INDI alliance before the election assuming that everyone is going to vote for NDA. But when they started to talk to people on ground only during the elections, they realised that things are not that black and white, and that created a perception that something is changing. But in fact always it has been the case that majority of the people are anti BJP, like their vote share was 38% in 2019, which means 62% are still opposed, so if you talk to 5 people 3 of them always have been opposed

As rightly pointed out by Dr Parkala Prabhakar Nirmala Seetharaman's husband - the BJP may struggle even to cross 200-220 and yesterday he still narrowed down to less than 200 LS seats. A big set back is also awaited in Union Territories.

After a lot of thinking on Prashant's actions until now, my theory is that PK has been projected by Amit Shah to become BJP's main opposition albeit a friendly one, basically the one that will not take any investigative actions on BJP's criminal activities when in power.. similar to old setting between secular parties. The new BJP have made all old parties their hard core enemies which will initiate actions against it if INDIA comes to power. the aim was same when he was sent to INC. Now the target is to occupy INC's space, but INC rise in 2024 will kill that plan, hence he was brought to change the atmosphere. But PK does not want to harm his reputation by giving false predictions hence he was being vague about it.. Thapar caught him red handed and he succumbed to the pressure.

If the INDIA alliance wants to win make him the leader of the congress, and see the INDIA alliance come to power. As a result, PK comes to power and comes to the national-level party. Scaling up a local party to the national level is a big challenge, but preparing a dysfunctional national party will be easier comparatively.

He is the kind of person who plays by wanting to take credit of the efforts and ground work done by others, by confusing them and playing on their insecurities and then coming in the picture in the last slot or second finale of the event. He has done so with TMC, Jagganmohan Reddy, nitish jdu, that is the reason they later dissociated with him. He wanted the full control of Congress and Congress leaders, Raga did not agree with it, he said he could only agree with him to take election campaign part and leaders can have discussion but not subjugation, but it seems pk wanted full control that is why Pk has beef with him. It seems Pk has some dubious nature. Not sure though .

⁠Agreed. Rahul Gandhi saw threw him and turned the party around on his own. How can this guy be trusted. He works with different parties, gets all their information and feeds it back to the BJP. Rahul was smart not to trust him. Even if INDIA alliance loses, they will have taken away seats from the BJP. Hard to tell the actual vote count when minorities and Dalits are being lathi charged at voting stations and intimidated not to vote. Is BJP really winning or are they just disenfranchising enough people so that they can make themselves win (cheating).

Stock Markets don't reflect the whole ground reality, because ultimately the market investors and participants are not composed of the farmer and labour class. So even if the lower class will be in distress but if that distress somehow helps upper class and capitalists then ultimately the stock market will only go up.

Prashant Kishor sees a gap in BJP in Bihar post-Nitish. BJP needs a young son of the soil - and PK may be thinking of aligning with BJP in the short term, and may even gun for being CM (which is the least he will look for). It benefits him in Bihar electorally either way.
