The One Where We Go To Monica's Apartment From Friends & That 70's Show Basement At Pointe Orlando!

In today's vlog we head to Pointe Orlando to check out the Friends & That 70's Show set pop up! If you love the iconic television shows, Friends and That 70's Show and want to hang out in Monica's apartment or Eric Forman's basement, you should definitely check this out! At the time of filming this it was priced at $15 for admission and that got you 10 mins in each of the sets. (link to their website is down below for more info) They also had fun props and lots of easter eggs from the shows. The game board from the episode where Monica and Rachel switched apartments with Chandler and Joey. The Geller cup troll trophy and more! You could also climb through the window and even hang out on the outside balcony and try to catch a glimpse of the ugly naked guy! It was awesome and very instagramable! Then we head over to Eric's basement where we saw more fun easter eggs like the stupid helmet, the iconic table where the "circle" happened, the couch where the and more! The sets were really detailed and it was fun checking everything out! Then we headed out into Pointe Orlando for a look around. It was like a ghost town because not much is really open there. There were a few restaurants that were still open and the Fourth Wall pop up but that was about it. There weren't any signs listing when things would be opening back up but we'll keep you posted when we learn more. What did you think about this trip to Pointe Orlando? I am a set dresser in the film industry (we decorate the sets) and details are one of the biggest parts of our job. Layering a set with years and decades of a characters life is what makes it believable, nothing should stand out but everything together should lend to selling the story. I know the decorator for friends and am glad you enjoyed the experience. Thanks for the walking tour!

I went to the Friends pop-up in Boston and I was really underwhelmed by it! Based on their advertising, I thought it was going to be a much more immersive experience, but it was so quick to walk through! I enjoyed it, I just wish it had been a longer experience.

Two great shows! Both of which I fell in love with after they ended. When Netflix first started and you only got dvds in the mail, I would order these two. I eventually bought That 70’s Show and for a year I didn’t have any kind of cable or internet. I would just have That 70’s Show on non stop. Sometimes I watched it and other times it was just for background noise. Now Friends is my go to show to fall asleep to at night or to just have background noise. I never get tired of watching either show. Pretty cool to see their rooms in person.

It would be neat to see these 2 sets. Several years ago we took the Warner Brothers Studio tour. The last stop on the tour was the Central Perk set from friends. That was really cool to see. We were allowed to sit on the couch and take photos. I heard WB moved the Friends fountain from the WB Ranch to the Burbank studio. That too would be neat to see.

If you enjoyed the Friends pop up, you would love the full Friendsfest that tours. I went with a friend last year in Manchester England and they also had all the other sets such as Chandler and Joey's apartment, Ross's apartment, Central Perk and more. It is a good day out, a bit pricey when you go into the gift shop! I had to buy the Hugsy! Lol! So sad to see so much still closed, hopefully won't be long until it is thriving again! Love Ceri x

3:17 - 3:23 you actually do see that wall in one episode. The one where chandler wants to know whats in monicas closet. Towards the end he opens it and monica walks in. So the shot is monica looking into the closet and chandler by the closet entrance. There you can see the fourth wall.

The chest freezer is missing from Eric’s basement. It was between the washer/dryer and they always got popcycles out of it. The year they graduated was the year I graduated high school. Our mascot was also a Viking and our colors were blue and gold!
