What would our neighborhoods look like if Christians obediently fulfilled the Great Commission? Watch one man’s 31-day journey of listening to the Holy Spirit as he hits the streets of his own community sharing the Gospel and making disciples. You will witness the labor of making disciples, the challenges and rejections of hard ground, and the joy of seeing someone make that first step of committing their life to follow Jesus Christ. Then journey the rough road of discipleship as God’s children learn to become more Christlike every day.

Incredible. Praise our Lord, and bless you Kyle. I’ve never been so inspired and motivated to “Go”! Everyone claiming to be a follower of CHRIST, and every church claiming to be a part of the BODY needs to see this! I see how much more I personally need to do! Wow wow wow.

But then you need to go vegan bcos christ was all about stopping violence against all living beings, he was plant based and was killed bcos of his views against the church who were selling+sacrificing animals in gods house! He sacrificed himself trying to protect animals, who suffer like we do! Jesus was vegan, he wants a vegan compassionate world.

This was very inspiring! The number 4 stood out as I watched. Jesus was from the 4th tribe, Judah. There are 4 Hebrew letters in the Holy name of G-d. All four letters are the the name of the tribe of Judah, with addition of the dalet. The 4th Hebrew letter is the dalet, it represents a door. This suggests that the door to the Lord comes through Judah. This video shows inviting people to see the door that is Jesus! Powerful stuff!!

Love this and prompts many thoughts and since this is social media, I'll share a few. Been watching through Kyle's books of The Bible teaching and really enjoy and am encouraged by his willingness to teach Truth and even to call out the modern-day church on many issues where they are not walking in line with God's Word. A quote that I think captures this, "When we place the body above The Head, we are in idolatry. This sums up most of the modern American church(es)." I really appreciate what is happening in this "Call to Obedience" video but I think most, if not all, of this is what we could classify as evangelism...sharing the Gospel and hopefully pointing people to Christ as Savior. One of the tremendous exceptions to this was the ongoing conversation and discipleship with Kelvin...awesome! I really appreciate Pastor Miller's points of priorities from 8:00-8:40 in the video as he does exactly what Jesus told us to do...in order...in Scripture in the 2 Greatest Commands. These were given in order not just for the rank and "of first importance" that God deserves our worship and love above all else but that, in Scripture, order almost always, and certainly in this case, is imperative. If you are not engaging and growing in the 1st and Greatest Command you are not capable of fulfilling the 2nd Command to love yourself (who you are in Christ) so you can then love others as you love yourself...and as Jesus loves us (John 13:34-35). This also aligns with the Truth of Scripture found in 1 John 4:19...we can love only because of His love for us and in us. I've asked thousands of folks over the past several years if, upon them accepting Christ as Savior, did anyone in their church, by design, begin to disciple them in the 1st and Greatest command? Not one single person said yes. And yet the churches continue to "get people saved,' maybe do a 4-8 week "discipleship" class which is almost always a church convert class, then instruct them to go out and love/serve the world, i.e,, others. Almost every single "saved" individual is then an "empty infant" in Christ trying to love others out of emptiness because they've never been taught what it means to love God with all they are, worship Him alone (1st Command) and in the process, know and love who they are in Christ by knowing Him with the help of a more mature believer/disciple, and then they can't help but go out and love/serve others in the love (agape - which literally means to prefer God above all else). This is why Jesus agapao (loved) the rich young ruler in Mark 10:17-22 as we see Him elevate God's Truth above accepting the ruler with idols clearly controlling his life. Anything less would be unloving and yet that is what most of our churches do today. Luke 14:25-35 is very instructive and informative in what it means to be a disciple of Christ and instruct/disciple others in the same...and this is so much more than the modern-day church mantra called "discipleship" which is 1) attend; 2) give; 3) serve (all of which are good and needed but Jesus takes us so much deeper and very few church leaders in our day and time spend the time, and/or are willing to take the time with others to teach and grow them in Christ. Jesus' 3 points of discipleship from Luke 14 are: 1) He must be first over all things and in everything - nothing and no one can take priority over Him...and that is very seldom discussed or expected when we disciple others and is at the root of every single problem just as it was in Genesis 3 as many attend, give and serve to satisfy "the church" but they have many things that are truly more important than Jesus and no one calls them on it or helps them go deeper. Jesus says if this is the case, which it predominantly is in our church culture, then "you can't be my disciple." That's tough but that's Truth; 2) You must have a wholehearted devotion to Me (Christ) because half-hearted devotion makes you and your faith a laughingstock to the culture...and that is exactly where most of the church's faith today is with regard to our culture...they are laughing and the half-hearted devotion rooted in half-truth teachings; 3) You must deny or die to yourself (hardly ever talked about in today's churches as long as folks are attending, giving and serving, and then take up His cross for you and bear it daily. If you are not doing all 3 of these then you can't be my disciples, Jesus says. This is not about perfection but having a heart set on this with continued maturity and a desire to grow more and more in each of these...attending, giving and all forms of serving then become an overflow of hearts truly set on and discipled in Christ and His Word. Another powerful text that is almost always half-taught is John 8:32 about knowing the Truth and being set free. Very few teach, preach or truly disciple on the previous verse which is all about discipleship...John 8:31..."You are MY DISCIPLES if you remain in my Word," then comes v. 32 that we always seems to be equated to folks that just show up at church and, you guessed it, attend, give and serve!?! I could go on and on as I deal with this in my ministry all the time. It's pretty easy for folks to say "No, thanks" and we walk away when evangelizing, or they say yes and we then walk them through the Romans Road or some other Biblical understanding of salvation...which is what our churches most often preach about. When you dive into discipleship on any level, I know Kyle and others know this and it is why so many churches, leaders and members avoid it, you will find many that will walk away, even "believers" from what they are now being told discipleship truly is in contrast to what they've been "sold" in church sermons and programs. The same exact thing happened to Jesus in John 6 so why wouldn't it happen to us when we are calling and asking people to become true disciples? I could go on and on but I'll stop there and say thanks once again! Love your teaching and praying that we all will be disciples who make disciples in line with His Word. Have a Blessed Thanksgiving and CHRISTmas season with family and loved ones in The Lord and keep making disciples for Him (2 Corinthians 9:15)!

As believers we need to hear this message so that we might go out and share the love of Jesus. Making disciples so that as Kelvin said, it's simple; then those will go out and share what they learned and in turn share Jesus with others. Thank you for following the call of Jesus and allowing the Holy Spirit to work through you and your family. I've had a renewal and feeling on fire for the Lord. May we never feel complacency for the Son who gave us the ultimate gift!!

Oh my. What a inspiring message. So simple, yet profound. To be what Jesus called us to do. Go and make disciples. He empowers us to do what He tells us to do, but faith is stepping out and doing it, as we choose to spend time with Jesus and Holy Spirit to lead us and fill us with the love of Jesus. I pray that God gives me that kind of courage to go and make disciples right here in my neighborhood

Also, love the discipleship process being done with David, the young Spanish man, and the storytelling aspect with Stephanie and Alyssa! I don't think I'm going to say anything next that Kyle and those pastors/leaders in this video don't already know...in the Greek in Matthew 28:18-20, when it says to "go and make" which Pastor Miller and Bobby so astutely pointed out that our church systems are not going to fulfill this command, literally means, "as you go along the way." In other words, in line with what Jesus taught, every part of your life is lived as His disciple with the goal of making disciples of others. It is not go or send but in every area of your life you are living out Christ as Lord (that's a greatly misunderstood and/or ignored word in our churches today...not that it's not talked or preached about but Lord in our churches doesn't come close to Lord in Scripture which is why disciple in churches doesn't come close to disciple in the Word. Another quote, "Today's churches have opted for a corporate success based on worldly outcomes rather than a Kingdom fruit model based on His Word and by His Spirit! Love what you guys are saying and hopefully I'm just chiming in! When I shared these teachings at a church one time the lead pastor said, "This is excellent and powerful. What do you call this model (success concept)?" My answer was simply, "I don't have a name for it but i can tell you what it is...it's the Jesus Model!" Love the "make a friend" part of discipleship because Biblically the only way to make disciples is in loving relationships which takes us right back to the 1st and 2nd greatest commands! God is so awesome to give us exactly what we need and the order in which we need to follow and grow in it...why do churches constantly, and almost always, "put the cart before the horse?" Because doing it in the flesh and in a system or program where you can quantify it and call it "success" makes it easy for us to say we're getting it done when we're really not. Sorry but as I said, I could go on and on. "In the local church when you send them to be discipled, many have never been discipled" or discipled anyone (this includes nearly every elder, deacon and church leader). "Addiction of the American Church...we want to fast track discipleship!" "Discipleship is not, you can't plan it. You have to love it and live it." (Luke 14:25-35) One pastor said to me, "Wow, Greg, relationships are messy, nasty stuff" when I was sharing these same principles with him and he had told me about losing 2 church leaders and he couldn't find 2 to replace them . I had asked him if the 2 remaining ones were actually qualified and what he was doing to make sure? That was his response and my reply was, "What part of messy, nasty stuff changes God's Truth?" He was silent! Thanks for all the stories but especially Stephanie's story with all the choices she's made and what she's going through! May the Word dwell richly in all of them and they be filled with The Holy Spirit...only way this happens as we build relationships with them and make disciples of Jesus Christ who will make disciples of Jesus Christ! Love the baptism of David...PTL! Matthew 28:18 is the key as He is passing on His Authority to us. And His Authority is Love (John 13:1-17, emphasis on vv. 12-17 as Jesus clearly points to His humble loving service as what AUTHORITY in His Kingdom does in loving relationiships! Would love to meet you, Kyle, and each of those on the video at some point as The Lord may lead! Beautiful and thanks!!! This is great! Well done, love you, and God bless in Christ (John 3:30)!

As I invested time to watch this, I was spiritually enlightened. To see Pastor Kyle and his team been fishers of men, I saw a whole new perspective of what discipleship really means. I felt the Holy Spirit drew closer and He ministered to me; to the point where when Stephanie (hope I spelt it correctly) melted...I melted. I cook to feed shut-ins, the homeless, drug addicts, orphans, and insane people. Now I realize that I can do much more because it's an opportunity to share Jesus, offer food and just to fellowship with others. I too, have been REVIVED
